Nala & Mich Foundation Statement on the Abduction of Kebbi Schoolgirls

The Nala & Mich Foundation is deeply saddened and outraged by the abduction of schoolgirls from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State. No child should ever experience fear, violence or displacement simply because she seeks an education.

We stand in solidarity with the families, the Kebbi community, and every Nigerian demanding urgent action. Our girls are not bargaining chips. They are daughters, students, dreamers, children whose lives must be protected at all costs.

We call on the Federal Government, State Government, Security Agencies and all relevant authorities to prioritize a swift and safe rescue mission. Nigeria must take decisive steps to secure our schools and protect children, especially girls, from the persistent cycle of abductions.

Our hearts are with the families and our voices remain unwavering until every girl is safely returned home.
