A LETTER TO THE GENERAL OVERSEER,
PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE,
REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOOD (RCCG),
NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS LAGOS AND REDEMPTION CITY MOWE OGUN STATE, NIGERIA.
Sir,
KEY WAYS TO GROW THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE RCCG FASTER TOWARDS THE ACHIEVEMENT OF VISION 2032; MY ADVICE CONTRIBUTIONS TO A MORE SOLID CHURCH.
I greet you our daddy in the Lord with the warmest and utmost regards and profound respect sir. I have been a member of the church since 2002 in Abuja where I physically saw you in your white suit in 2003 when the National Ecumenical center was inaugurated. I am currently in portharcourt where I work for the NYSC and attend the Sheperd's Hill parish Rivers province 8 HQ of Region 33.
May God almighty continue to take care of you sir.

For many years I have care painstakingly observed our church the RCCG and the spirit led me at this time to reach you and the entire leadership of the Church via this medium with the following suggestions;
Make RMF and good women leadership tenure in the regions, provinces, Zones, areas and parishes to become maximum of 2 years or 3 years only. So that many men and women of the church can use the platform to learn how to relate with people as a practical training ground of the church in readiness into Nigeria's public administration and Governance leadership. Let the leadership of these two groups not be selected based on the amount of money the person has but to be based on the idealistic capacity and zeal of such a person to move the groups forward. This is because it is not like that currently, as christians are waiting for the RCCG to start and get it right for christians in politics of Nigeria. Majority of the leadership of RMF and Good women stay for years and it is not good. This should become a national policy.
Moreso, men and women leadership selection at the province, zone and parish levels should be left in the hands of the men and women to select the leadership that they will follow at all times without coercion. What the Church should do is to only monitor the process, so that it becomes a collective ownership of the men and women. Consultation should be allowed among men and women as to who leads them at a given period of time. In a nutshell again, we should use the the RMF & Good women Fellowship as training ground for Christians in Government Leadership and politics in Nigeria .
So that again, we use such to relief the burden of a monotonous leadership that does not allow for a new ways of ideas cultivation and implementation. This should become the practice because in life and in anything, dynamism is very key and essential to be emplored.
Also, Can we begin to have RMF & Good women conventions that allows for members connecting with one another in such a way that could increase contact exchange for development into the society at Large leading to new partnership in business development, employment and empowerment for men, women and children of Christianity.
Let us earmark some part of church funds to back up RMF and Good Women Empowerment Programs when conceptualized for implementation. This is a major new way of growing the church and its funds. It is needless explaining this further.
Let us stop explaining every good suggestion away and think of new ways of doing church corporate social responsibility (CSR). When members see that the church is using the church funds for the upliftment of members they will give more than anyone expects.
HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY on critical health challenges, death and burial; To be funded by the church in full or the church meet members half way on the payment of the premiums. This should be a national policy of RCCG as well. You could reach to me for a more explanation on this.
Let RMF and Good women Convention and meetings become where new ideas for church growth thoughts, men, women economy and business empowerment needs and solutions can be generated by members for implementation not only Convention of preachings. What have we not heard/seen since people were born. Allow church men and women to be part of agenda setting for the church that they have always funded via tithes, offerings and seed’s owing/donations.
Let us start to build and complete a world class well equipped mighty hospital nation-wide sitting one in each state of the federation starting from Rivers State to take care of church members health when they need such. This will benefit the church and society at large and becomes a great evangelism strategy to win more souls into the church and for Christ. Our children who are in the medical line and some others who can be hospital support staff can also become gainfully employed. If this project suggestions is adopted church members can willingly contribute to its actualization beyond our imagination. This mega Hospital can be situated in the Rivers RCCG Camp. And other RCCG camps across the nation.
Set up a National Public Affairs Committee to engage and debunk any public misgivings about the church by anyone or groups.
Family weekend should be men in church, their wives and children. This is what a family means so let us collapse the RMF and Good women weekends into a joint weekend of the church family weekend noted in the church calendar. I say this because only elders and children celebrate the family weekend in RCCG. And if this is allowed, robust activities that could be of family uplifting, harmony and children care/discipline could be planned and implemented.
Let us also have a National Church Committee set up that generally and periodically plan the National and church day of the FATHERS and the MOTHERS. Especially, the nature it should take without repetition of content every year going forward.
Finally, let us as a church have an agro and food (Bread, Bean, Garri, Animal Husbandry, poultry and Rice) production line subsidized for the interest of church members as we see that the economy is increasingly stressing families in our nation. This will create job opportunities for our young members and more money into the church purse.
Let me conclude by saying that, in major decision making let men as pillars of the church and women be carried along by way of consultation so that there will not be dissention and throwing church harmony to the wind. This is because some pastors are very funny in their comments and administration.
I am grateful to God almighty who is my inspiration and knowledge giver.
