₦800,000,000. APPROVED.
This is not a proposal or a rumour.

This is the Adamawa State Government’s approved 2026 budget for the construction of a High Court Complex in Numan LGA while human capital, youth development, women empowerment, disability inclusion, and community security all receive NOTHING!

In Numan, Lamurde and Demsa, many families are struggling to eat, youths can not find jobs, and healthcare remains weak.
Yet N1.375 billion has been approved for classroom construction alone in 2026.

Citizens for Transparent Governance - Numan (CTG-N) hereby announces the appointment of Ms. Esther Peter as its new leader, following the voluntary relinquishment of office by its Convener, Prince Harrison Dingoli, in line with his pursuit of active political engagement.

Our new leader, Ms. Esther Peter is a Nigerian - born resident of Washington, DC, USA, and a renowned international civic and governance advocate with a practical and extensive experience in policy reform, community development, humanitarian engagement, and institutional accountability.

Ms. Peter is also an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong track record in grassroots development and strategic governance initiatives internationally.

As a non-partisan social and policy reform expert, Ms. Peter's assumption of leadership represents a significant milestone in the evolution of CTG-N and it is no doubt that securing her commitment was a deliberate and strategic decision, reflecting the organization’s resolve to strengthen its institutional credibility, expand its reach, and sustain the core mandate upon which it was founded.

This new leadership ensures continuity, stability, and growth, positioning CTG-N to serve as a model for civic responsibility, transparency, and people centered governance for the Numan people and Nigeria by extension.

We remain steadfast in our mission to promote accountability and good governance. With this transition, the organization reaffirms its commitment to setting standards, shaping outcomes, and contributing meaningfully to sustainable nation building.

If Numan succeeds, Adamawa succeeds.
And if Adamawa succeeds, Nigeria succeeds.

Signed:
Citizens for Transparent Governance – Numan (CTG-N)

The corrupt and inept Chairman of Numan Local Government Council, Hon. Innocent Koto, continues to mortgage the future of Numan while our people suffer daily.

While basic governance collapses, there is now serious public concern around a house widely speculated to be built by Koto in the city of Numan, his second, after the completion of the one he could not finish during his first tenure in his hometown of Salti.
A Local Government Chairman whose official income is known, yet whose lifestyle now raises unavoidable questions. Questions he must answer with facts.
But what makes it even worse is the growing impression among the people that this house may not even truly belong to him, but to his godfather, the same godfather who keeps dragging him deeper into disgrace, shielding him while pushing him into more political foolishness and public embarrassment.

I have said this before, and I will say it again. This will not be another case quietly dumped in Gombe. This will not be swept under the carpet with local arrangements.
We have taken all necessary steps to open a proper case file with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission headquarters in Abuja. And come July 2026, Hon. Innocent Koto will answer, fully, for his actions, his choices, and his sins against the people of Numan.

Chairmanship is not a lottery ticket and public office is not a shortcut to sudden wealth. Leadership is also not an excuse to loot while the people rot.
Numan is awake. The era of nonsense is ending. And this time, nobody is escaping accountability.

In what can only be described as a tragic misunderstanding of leadership, the Chairman of Numan Local Government, Hon. Innocent Koto, is reportedly presiding over a WHOT card competition for loyalists, with a prize pool of N100,000.
This is a clear reduction of public office and funds to recreational consolation for political irrelevance.

I have formally escalated a petition concerning the disappearance and improper handling of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Ward II, Numan LGA to the appropriate INEC Nigeria 's authorities.

Voter suppression is a crime!!!
Withholding, diverting, bulk handling, or tampering with PVCs is pure illegality.
I must reiterate that every registered voter has a constitutional right to vote.
No individual, party structure, or local authority has the power to take that right away from them.

Any attempt, past or present, to suppress votes in Numan will be resisted through lawful, transparent, and institutional means, and those responsible will be held accountable under the law.

Mind you, this is not about parties.
This is not about personalities.
This is about protecting democracy and ensuring that 2026 and 2027 elections are free, fair, and credible in Numan.

Democracy must stand and Numan must vote this time!!!

Wanting a better Nigeria is easy. Everyone says it.
The harder part is understanding why things fail, who benefits from the failure, and how the same people keep recycling themselves under new banners.
That’s where the real work begins.

Numan’s problem has never been ideology.
It has never been about party names or logos.
It has always been about character, control, and a long continuity of failure.

You can change platforms.
You can redesign logos.
You can rebrand faces.
But if the people remain the same, the outcome will remain the same.
Numan doesn’t need another disguise. Numan needs a break from recycled leadership.

Yesterday told us everything we needed to know!!!

Arc. Zamgopwa Zidon stood publicly, hand in hand with Hon. Innocent Koto, the very symbol of the failed leadership the people of Numan are desperate to move away from. The same Koto whose era represents stagnation, silence, and lost opportunities. The same camp we have collectively rejected now wants to repackage itself with a new face and sell it as change.

Hear this, you cannot emerge from a rotten structure and pretend to be reform.
You cannot be installed by the same camp and claim independence.
You cannot raise your hand with yesterday’s failure and promise tomorrow’s progress.

This sham project was flawed from the start, conceived in secrecy, imposed through manipulation, and sustained by recycled power brokers who believe Numan has no memory. They are trying a “different” script, but the actors are the same, and the intentions have not changed.

This is not youth leadership. This is continuity and continuity has failed Numan.

The old tricks no longer work and every candidate of the PDP will FAIL in Numan come 2026 & 2027.
