On May 21, 2026, PINDโs energy developer partner, ETIN Power, signed three key agreements with Gbelebu Community in Edo State to advance a community mini-grid project under the โฆ1.2 billion PINDโOkomu Oil Palm Company Plc partnership.
The agreements will support:
โ
Reliable electricity for homes and businesses
โ
Community participation and local ownership through a Community Power Committee
โ
Long-term sustainability with trained local operators and environmental safeguards
More importantly, the agreements secured the governance, land access, and operational framework needed to move the project from planning to implementation.
This is more than infrastructure. It is a model for how partnerships can strengthen livelihoods, resilience, and sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
๐ Powering communities. Strengthening futures.
