Book Buddies by Ashezi is calling on passionate young people aged 11–24 to join our Youth Ambassadors Programme, a safe, inspiring space where young leaders learn, serve, and grow while making real impact through literacy, advocacy, and community service.
What started as a small book club in an IDP camp, led by a 9-year-old girl who loved reading, has grown into a youth-led movement supporting children in camps and marginalized communities. Now, we are inviting YOU to be part of the story.
As a Book Buddies Ambassador, you will:
✨ Learn the 17 SDGs in a fun, practical, and age-appropriate way
✨ Participate in offline and online activities, reading clubs, outreaches, campaigns, and virtual sessions
✨ Be mentored by experienced young professionals and SDG champions making real-world impact
✨ Build skills in leadership, communication, digital advocacy, and teamwork
✨ Use your voice to stand up for education, girls’ rights, child protection, climate action, and inclusion
