The Bwari Area Council Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) successfully held the 2026 “Beginning the Month with the Lord” programme in a powerful and spiritually charged atmosphere.

The programme was marked by intense worship, fervent prayers, and exhortations, as Christians were admonished to embrace humility and seek God wholeheartedly for divine direction and grace in the year ahead.

Dignitaries in attendance included the Bwari Area Council Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) John S. Gabaya; PDP Candidate, Hon. Julius Adamu; APC Candidate, Hon. (Dr.) Shekwolo Audi Haruna; and ADC Candidate, Hon. Josiah Koce.

The political leaders were prayed for and charged to uphold godly values, peace, and responsible leadership in service to the people of Bwari Area Council.

The event was widely described as spirit-filled, impactful, and power-packed, leaving attendees spiritually refreshed and strengthened.

*Appreciation Letter to All Pastors*

Dear Esteemed Pastors,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

On behalf of the leadership, I write to express our sincere appreciation to all the pastors who took the time to attend last week's General Pastors' Meeting. Your presence, participation, and valuable contributions were deeply appreciated and went a long way in making the meeting a success. We thank God for your dedication to the work of the ministry and your commitment to fellowship and unity in the body of Christ.

We also wish to use this opportunity to appeal to all pastors who were unavoidably absent. Kindly make it a priority to attend when such meetings are called in the future. These gatherings are vital for mutual encouragement, information sharing, spiritual alignment, and the advancement of the work committed to our hands.

Thank you once again for your cooperation and continued service in the vineyard of the Lord.

May the Lord bless you richly, strengthen you continually, and reward your labour in His kingdom.

Yesterday,We were privileged to have the honourable councilor of Byazhin Ward who double as the speaker of Bwari Area council in our general CAN pastors' meeting.
In his speech,he appreciates all the pastors for their continuous prayers and cooperation in his tenure. He also boldly pledge his allegiance to being committed to continue what he has started and therefore seeks the prayers of all the pastors and Christians in Byazhin Ward to be able to fulfill this mandate.

In the same spirit, the pastors prayed for him and assured him of their support and prayers. And special prayers was administered to the honourable councilor of Byazhin Ward who double as speaker of Bwari Area council.

The Familiarity visit of the Area commander to Byazhin Ward Division earlier today.

In attendance were the various Chiefs of the Byazhin Ward, The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Byazhin Ward, The PCRC representatives, The vigilante group of Nigeria,The okada Association Executives and others.

Vital issues were discussed and The Area commander noted every observation raised.
