But she carries it.

Your name echoes through the ages, not just as a ruler, but as a symbol of honor, strength, and sacrifice.

We, your people, will never forget.

When the British came with greed in their hearts and destruction in their hands, you stood tall not with weapons, but with wisdom. They demanded blood, yet you offered peace. Faced with the choice between your crown or your people’s lives, you chose exile, so your kingdom could live.

You gave yourself so that we might survive.

You wore the crown with dignity, and when it was time to lay it down, you did so with the heart of a lion and the soul of a father.

A Father's Promise A Father's Day Tribute by EVFC

At Elegant Vision Foundation and Charity (EVFC), we believe in the power of presence the steady hand that guides, the voice that reassures, and the heart that protects. Today, on Father’s Day, we celebrate every man who has risen to the call of fatherhood not just by blood, but by love, sacrifice, and service.

In communities across Africa, we’ve seen fathers walk miles to take their children to school, stay up late building dreams they may never live to see, and teach values of kindness, resilience, and hope. Their hands may be rough, but their hearts are soft. Their voices firm, yet filled with love.

This image reminds us of the sacred bond between a father and child strong, safe, and unwavering. At EVFC, we have watched fathers volunteer to rebuild schools, mentor young boys, support girls’ education, and stand beside mothers in lifting entire families from poverty.

Lifting Each Other. Changing Our Story.

In the heart of a forgotten village, hope walked in hand in hand with the volunteers of Elegant Vision Foundation and Charity (EVFC).

The women you see in this image are more than faces in a crowd they are survivors, mothers, grandmothers, and community pillars. For years, they’ve carried the weight of struggle in silence. But on this day, that silence was broken not with grand speeches, but with genuine acts of love, laughter, and light.

EVFC didn’t arrive with promises; we arrived with presence. We came to listen, to understand, to lift. With every warm embrace, every encouraging word, and every act of kindness, we reminded them: you are not alone. Because one quiet act of love can be the reason someone holds on. That’s the power of simply caring.

A Day to Remember: Spreading Light, Love, and Learning in Jikwoyi Dagbana

On a day filled with hope, joy, and purpose, Elegant Vision Foundation & Charity (EVFC) had the honor of visiting Government Secondary School Phase 2, Jikwoyi Dagbana, and what a truly unforgettable experience it was.

Our hearts were deeply touched as we engaged with out-of-school children, offering not just support, but a strong message: you are seen, you are valued, and you deserve a future filled with opportunity. Through interactive sessions and heartfelt conversations, we rekindled their dreams and reminded them that education is a right, not a privilege.

The highlight of the day was our powerful Peace Education Workshop, where we taught students the true meaning of unity, tolerance, and coexistence. In a world that often feels divided, we believe that teaching peace is one of the greatest investments in the future. The energy in the room was electric — eyes wide open, minds absorbing, hearts ready to change the world.

Equally close to our hearts was the "Save the Girl Child" campaign. With strength and compassion, we spoke boldly about the rights, dignity, and limitless potential of every girl. From the classroom to the boardroom, from the village to the city — every girl deserves a voice, a chance, and a future free from fear or limitation.

This was not just a visit.
It was a mission of love. A movement of hope. A memory that will live forever.

To the incredible students, dedicated teachers, and gracious community of Jikwoyi Dagbana — thank you for welcoming us with open arms and open hearts. Your warmth, resilience, and enthusiasm inspire us to keep going, to keep giving, and to keep believing in a brighter tomorrow.

Nigeria Cricket Federation Collaborates with Elegant Vision Foundation & Charity (EVFC) to Empower Youth Through Sports and Education

In a groundbreaking partnership aimed at transforming lives through sport and social impact, the Nigeria Cricket Federation has officially joined hands with the Elegant Vision Foundation & Charity (EVFC).

This collaboration represents a shared vision: to harness the power of cricket as a tool for youth empowerment, education, and community development. Together, the NCF and EVFC will launch a series of grassroots programs across Nigeria, including cricket clinics, school outreach initiatives, and mentorship sessions designed to inspire the next generation of athletes and leaders.

President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Uyi Akpata, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are excited to work with EVFC to extend the reach of cricket while also addressing vital social needs. This collaboration will give young Nigerians access to opportunities that can change their lives.”

Founder of EVFC, Bright Windels Agho, added, “At EVFC, we believe in creating meaningful change through unity, purpose, and action. Partnering with the Nigeria Cricket Federation allows us to connect passion with purpose—using cricket to educate, uplift, and empower communities.”

A Memory of Light: Empowering the Girl Child in Mambila Barracks

There are memories that live forever in our hearts — not because of grandeur, but because of the deep and quiet impact they leave behind. One such moment of grace unfolded when Elegant Vision Foundation and Charity (EVFC) partnered with the Seraphine Youth and Women’s Initiative at Army Day Secondary School, Mambila Barracks, Maitama, Abuja.

On that day, the school grounds came alive with more than just the voices of students — they echoed with courage, compassion, and a powerful call to action: to save the girl child and support out-of-school children.

Beneath the sunlit skies, young girls and boys gathered, eager to learn, to be heard, and to be seen. The sessions were more than just educational; they were transformational. From empowering talks on girls’ rights and protection to practical guidance on education access and personal growth, each word spoken planted seeds of purpose in every heart present.

We remember the faces — full of wonder and hope. We remember the questions asked by brave young girls who, for the first time, felt safe enough to speak. And we remember the quiet tears of joy from a mother who saw her daughter receive school supplies and hygiene kits, knowing she could now return to the classroom with dignity.

This partnership wasn't just about a visit. It was a promise fulfilled. A promise that every child, no matter where they are or what they’ve faced, deserves a chance — to learn, to grow, and to thrive. The Seraphine Youth and Women’s Initiative brought their passion; EVFC brought their mission. Together, we lit a spark that will burn bright for years to come in Mambila Barracks.

In that moment, surrounded by eager hearts and hopeful eyes, we knew: we were not just educating — we were building futures.
