Today, we honour, Fr George Ehusani, as he adds another glorious year to his age. We honour him for his very clear vision,courage, and deep faith. His Leadership Training Centre and his University are clear testimonies to the character of this icon, who is always deliberately intentional on his contributions to building a functional,inclusive,and value-driven society and a NIGERIA that we all WANT.
The invaluable national contributions by this icon, especially around our country's moral leadership,strategic insights, continuous advocacy for justice, equity,peaceful coexistence, and national cohesion, have not only resonated well with the AOCPIN but constitute core areas of our NPHC's preoccupations within the ADR framework of engagements.
With unwavering conviction, he has continued to champion accountability, never hesitating to remind society of the “revenge of the poor”—the unavoidable consequences of leadership failure that creates and abandons the vulnerable across Nigeria. The steadily increasing number of the poor remains a destabilising challenge until leadership deliberately addresses the basic and essential needs that are routinely ignored nationwide.
He remains one of the leading voices among men of God who speak truth to power with courage, particularly when leadership drifts away from the principles that define exemplary and responsible governance.
On this special occasion, the Abdullahi Omaki Community Peace Initiatives Network (AOCPIN), together with the entire Council Members of the National Peace and Harmony Council (NPHC), joyfully wish Rev. Fr. George O. Ehusani a happy birthday.
