STATEMENT ON THE JOS KILLING INCIDENT

We, at Hopeline Children's Foundation, are shocked and saddened by the recent violent attacks in Jos, Plateau State, that have resulted in loss of lives and displacement of families 🌹.

We condemn these senseless acts of violence and express our deepest condolences to the affected families.

The security and safety of citizens is the government's responsibility. We urge the Federal Government to take immediate action to:
- Ensure perpetrators are brought to justice
- Protect vulnerable communities
- Address underlying causes of violence

We stand with the people of Jos and all Nigerians demanding peace and security.

Today, we stand with millions across the globe to celebrate the strength, dreams, and rights of every girl child.

At Hopeline Children’s Foundation, we believe that every girl deserves equal access to education, safety, and opportunities to thrive. Yet, many girls still face barriers like poverty, child marriage, abuse, and lack of access to quality education and healthcare.

This year’s theme reminds us to invest in her power — to equip, empower, and elevate the girl child to become a leader, innovator, and change-maker in her community and beyond.
