RAISING CHILDREN IN A PEACEFUL HOME.

Children may not always remember what we tell them, but they will always remember what we show them.

A peaceful home is the greatest gift parents can give their children. When children grow up in an environment filled with love, respect, patience, and understanding, they are more likely to become confident, responsible, and compassionate adults.

Parents should remember:

* Your words shape your child’s self-esteem.
* Your actions become your child’s example.
* The way you resolve conflict teaches your child how to handle disagreements.
* The love and respect you show each other become the standard your children will follow.

No home is perfect, but every home can choose peace over conflict, dialogue over shouting, and forgiveness over bitterness.

Let us raise children who know that strength is shown through kindness, respect, and self control and not through anger or violence.

LEADERSHIP VS. CONTROL IN MARRIAGE

Many marriages today are struggling because leadership is being confused with control. Yet, they are not the same.

Leadership is rooted in love, responsibility, humility, and service. A true leader listens, protects, guides, and values the opinions of their spouse. Leadership builds trust, unity, and peace.

Control, on the other hand, is rooted in fear, pride, and insecurity. It seeks to dominate, silence, and manipulate. Control weakens communication, destroys trust, and turns a home into a place of tension instead of joy.

Sadly, in many homes, respect has been mistaken for silence, authority has been turned into oppression, and love has been overshadowed by fear. This is not the foundation of a healthy marriage.

Remember:

• A man who truly leads does not need to control.
• A woman who understands healthy leadership does not see marriage as a competition.
• Husband and wife are partners, created to complement not compete with each other.

A peaceful home is built when:

* Love is greater than pride.
* Communication replaces aggression.
* Respect is mutual.
* Decisions are made together.
* Accountability replaces control.

Marriage is not a battle for power.It is a partnership with purpose.
