MEMBERSHIP MONTH | MY ROTARY REFLECTION

As we celebrate Membership Month, we invite Rotarians across District 9127 to reflect on their own Rotary journey, where it began, what has kept them connected, and the difference Rotary has made in their lives.

In this special reflection, our District Governor, Rotarian Sikiru Adetona Owonikoko, shares a glimpse into his 39-year Rotary journey and the experiences that have shaped his commitment to Service Above Self.

What does Rotary mean to you?

Perhaps this month is the perfect time to reflect, reconnect and share your own Rotary story.

Before she was "the Book Lady" to millions of children, Dolly Parton believed every child deserved the chance to fall in love with reading.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she collaborated with Rotary to expand access to books and support young readers, one story at a time 📚 We were lucky enough to have her grace the Rotary stage in 2010 🎤 💫

Dolly, thank you for reminding us that literacy opens doors. Your generosity and optimism will inspire generations to come 💖

Rotaract Zone 6 Potluck 2026
One Day, Many Memories
One gathering.
Different people.
Countless conversations.
One unforgettable experience.

Impact Potluck brought us together beyond the food to connect, laugh, network, build friendships, and celebrate the Rotaract spirit.

To the Rotaract Abuja and Nasarawa thank you for giving us a day filled with memories we’ll keep talking about. A big thank you to the ADRR Zone 6 Rtr Ahmed Apata for this initiative.

A Potluck to Remember
The just-concluded Zonal Potluck was nothing short of amazing

With an incredible turnout of guests, the event was filled with games, music, networking, laughter, and lots of delicious food and drinks to share.

Beyond the fun, the Potluck served a greater purpose strengthening connections and driving membership across Rotaract Clubs in Abuja. We came together, connected, shared experiences, and reminded ourselves that Rotaract is truly about fellowship, service, and friendship.

A big thank you to everyone who showed up and made the event memorable.

One gathering. Many connections. One Rotaract family.

Beyond Recruitment: Building a Rotaract Club People Want to Belong To.

What an insightful and engaging virtual fellowship.
We had an amazing session with Rotarian Ismail Adeleye Ibrahim, Club President, Rotary Club of Abuja Federal, who shared valuable insights on building a Rotaract club where members don’t just join, but truly feel connected, valued, and proud to belong.

A big thank you to our speaker for sharing his time, experience, and wisdom with us.
To everyone who joined, participated, and contributed, thank you for making the fellowship a success.

We learn. We connect. We serve. Together We Create Lasting Impact.
