Malnutrition shows up in the numbers, but it's real impact is in the damaged potential of every child who never grows to full height, can't focus in school, or falls sick too easily, whose future is blighted through no faults of theirs.

We will not just celebrate children. We will commit to protecting them, starting with the most basic human right: the right to adequate nutrition.

Greater Life Initiative represented our Alliance - Civil Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) Cs-Sunn FCT Chapter in a meeting with the FCT Food and Nutrition Department and other government stakeholders. The aim of the meeting, which held today at the Food and nutrition Departmemt of the FCTA, was to discuss strategies to improve Food Systems in the Federal Capital Territory and address the situation of Food insecurity currently affecting 70.8% of FCT residents according to Nigeria’s Nutrition Dashboard.

Support us, let's join hands together as we promote food and nutrition security in tbe FCT and in Nigeria as a whole, beginning with the young generation.

We appreciate the collaboration with GIZ,German International Cooperation and the Fedetal Ministry of Labour and Employment for engaging our nominees in the comprehensive training of young people on solar power installation and hotel management. It is our hope that graduates will apply the knowledge acquired to productive use in order to promote their economic wellbeing.

16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

Every year, the UNITE Campaign focuses on a specific theme and this year’s is “UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls”. The campaign calls on citizens to show how much they care about ending violence against women and girls by sharing the actions they are taking to create a world free from violence towards women. This year's campaign also calls on governments worldwide to show how they are investing in gender-based violence prevention.
