Heifer Nigeria Heifer International Nigeria aims to assist millions of farmers to make sustainable living incomes.

This week, Heifer Nigeria participated in the 9th All Africa Conference on Animal Agriculture (AACAA) 2026 to engage on emerging approaches to livestock productivity, climate adaptation, innovation and inclusive market systems. The conference provided a platform for technical exchange and cross-sector collaboration around the transformation of Africa’s animal agriculture sector.

As the livestock sector evolves, strengthening production systems, improving access to markets and services and enabling smallholder farmers to participate more effectively across livestock value chains remain essential to building resilient food systems.

At Heifer Nigeria, we remain committed to advancing solutions that strengthen farmer livelihoods and contribute to a more productive, resilient and food secure Nigeria.

Successful harvest from our late dry season rice demo plots — made possible in partnership with Nimsy Agro Solar Concepts, SeedCo Nigeria, and Selema AgroSciences Ltd.

Solar-powered irrigation + quality seeds + committed farmers = climate-smart agriculture that works beyond the rainy season.

We’re not just harvesting rice. We’re harvesting knowledge, resilience, and opportunity.
Proud of every partner and farmer.
