🌍 A NEW GENERATION OF AFRICAN LEADERS IS RISING!

The Pan-African Girls & Women in Parliament Programme is more than an event—it is a platform for leadership, representation, governance, peacebuilding and meaningful participation in Africa’s future.

Through parliamentary engagement, leadership development, policy dialogue and strategic networking, the programme is creating space for girls and women to strengthen their voices, build their leadership capacity and contribute meaningfully to the decisions shaping our communities, nations and continent.

This is where voices become influence, ideas become action, and emerging leaders are prepared for greater responsibility.

As we move towards the Pan-African Peace, Leadership & Governance Summit 2026, we invite passionate and purpose-driven girls and women from across Africa to be part of this transformative journey.

STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY PEACE, STABILITY & CONSTRUCTIVE CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT IN SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦

The South Africa Country Director of the Pan-African Peace Envoy Assembly (PAEA) recently held a strategic engagement with a group of women and men to discuss the collective responsibility of citizens, community leaders and stakeholders in promoting peace, stability and social cohesion across the country.

The discussion emphasized the importance of developing peaceful, lawful and constructive channels of engagement with government when citizens have grievances or concerns. Rather than allowing disagreements to escalate into unrest or actions that may threaten public safety and national stability, communities were encouraged to embrace dialogue, mediation and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

Particular attention was given to the important role of Traditional Leaders, women, youth, community representatives and other key stakeholders in preventing conflict, strengthening understanding between communities and institutions, and creating platforms where concerns can be addressed respectfully.

The engagement further highlighted that maintaining a safe, peaceful and stable South Africa is a shared responsibility. Peace and stability not only protect communities but also strengthen national development, build investor confidence and enhance South Africa's image as a welcoming destination for people, businesses and international partnerships.

Through the leadership of our South Africa Country Directorate, PAEA remains committed to advancing peacebuilding, dialogue, responsible citizenship and community-driven conflict prevention.

Peace begins with dialogue. Stability grows through cooperation. A peaceful South Africa benefits everyone. 🇿🇦🤝🌍
