For some children, staying in school is not simply a matter of choice. Behind every child who is absent from the classroom may be a family facing challenges that require understanding, dialogue, and community action.
At Care Best Initiative (CBI), with support from GivingNG under the ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ, we started from the grassrootsโbringing parents together for sensitisation sessions that created a space for honest conversations about school attendance and practical ways to help children return to learning.
But the conversation did not stop there.
We brought children in and out of school together through a ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐, creating an inspiring space where they could reconnect with learning, creativity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
also provided learning materials to support their educational journey.
Because when parents take ownership, communities respond. And when communities respond, children get another opportunity to learn, create, and dream.
Every child deserves that opportunity.
