In commemoration of the World Diabetes Day and to mark its 18th year anniversary, the Abuja Unity Lions Club organized a free Diabetes Awareness and Screening Outreach for officers and personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) today.

The initiative was designed to promote early detection, healthier living, and improved well-being among officers who spend long hours on the road and often face high-stress working conditions. Through the screening exercise, participants received blood sugar checks, basic health assessments, and counselling on lifestyle changes to prevent or manage diabetes.

The Abuja Unity Lions Club Marks World Kindness Day with a Charitable Donation to JSS Orozo

In celebration of World Kindness Day, the Abuja Unity Lions Club extended a gesture of compassion and community support by donating chairs to Junior Secondary School, Orozo. The initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to promoting kindness, improving learning environments, and supporting educational development within local communities.

Through this act, the Abuja Unity Lions Club continues to embody the Lions’ motto “We Serve” by making tangible contributions that enhance education and inspire kindness across society.
