37 Taekwondo Student Athletes of A.B.U Zaria listen intently to Olympic medalist, Chika Chika Yagazie Chukwumerije, as he delivers a 3-hour training workshop on Competition Rules and winning strategies.

Training Workshop to continue tomorrow, Thursday 2nd July 2026 at the A.B.U Taekwondo Dojang.

Tomorrow will be on Poomsae Competition rules.

3-time NUGA Gold Medalist, Alhaji Sani teams up with 2-time NUGA Gold Medalist and Olympic Medalist, Chika Chukwumerije, to deliver Taekwondo Competition Rules Training Workshop to Taekwondo Student-Athletes of the Ahmadu Bello University.

Olympic Medalist, Chika Yagazie Chukwumerije, will be at A.B.U Zaria Taekwondo Dojang to teach their University Students on Competition Rules and winning strategies.

Head Coach of Ahmadu Bello University Taekwondo, Alhaji Sani Lawal is a three-time NUGA Gold Medalist and 30 other students will be present.

Alhaji Sani won gold medals at the University of Lagos 1998, A.B.U Zaria 2001 and University of Ibadan 2002 editions of the NUGA Games.

Chukwumerije was a 2-time NUGA Gold Medalist, having won back-to-back editions at the University of Ibadan 2002 and University of PortHarcourt 2004 editions.

A.B.U Zaria will be hosting the NUGA games in 2028.

On 6th July 2026, at the Body line Fitness Centre, Wuse 2, FCT Abuja, we will be launching the CCSF Taekwondo Academy, publicly teaching with a Taekwondo Training Curriculum we developed over the past 15 years.

That curriculum, developed by Olympic medalist, Chika Chika Yagazie Chukwumerije has produced an Olympian, African Champion, Commonwealth champion and National champions.

West Africa and Nigeria, with its extremely limited access to resources and taekwondo knowledge needs a specialized taekwondo methodology to thrive.

Chika Chukwumerije has started to solve this unique problem when developed his own training methodology that won him an Olympic medal and qualified him for London 2012 Olympics.

He improved on the methodology and used it to develop young people who have gone on to become national champions, continental champions and Olympians. It is a game-changer.

Now we want you and your child to benefit from this tried and tested training methodology, and gain a unique advantage, alongside being mentored by a positive role model that is a Graduate, Educator and Olympic Medalist
