They asked. We listened. We delivered.
Three weeks ago, a group of Aso-Ofi weavers in Ilorin reached out to the and told us exactly what was holding their businesses back.
Yesterday, every single one of them got what they asked for — down to the last item on the list. Weavers came in from wards across Ilorin West, Ilorin East and Ilorin South, and not one person left empty-handed.
That’s decent work taking root at the grassroots , and a real step away from poverty for the families behind every loom .
Here’s why this matters:
Aso-Ofi isn’t just cloth. It’s been putting food on tables for generations. It’s history you can wear. So when we stand with the people behind the loom, we’re protecting something much bigger than a business — we’re protecting a piece of who we are.
To every weaver who showed up yesterday — thank you for keeping the loom alive! 💙
