ABRAHAM ( Gen 12-13)

⭐ Abraham is indeed a father of faith, such trust and faith on God to foolishly and blindly start traveling with his entire family without a destination in mind.( can we trust God this same way today knowing that he is in charge?)
⭐ Abraham almost made his father's mistake by entering Egypt, but he was quick to realise that it was not where God wanted for him and he returned to the desert.
⭐ Abraham had a baggage in his journey (lot), when he was called only with his descendants. and this baggage brought issue for him and more so, stop him from hearing from God(vs 14). (is it a relationship or a material thing? I bet you, you don't need it in your journey with God)
⭐Lot made a choice of location in flesh and did not seek to know God's will, he didn't even care about the evil in the land he was going .(many of us have made decisions based on flesh and have lived to regret it . the devil's traps are always so attractive, it only takes your attentiveness to God's word to avoid it ( in choosing a partner, career etc

TERA (Gen 11:31-32)

⭐ Terah Abraham father suddenly embarks on a journey to Canaan, but we see him stopping on the way and later We see God calling his son to start a journey and still took him to the land of Canaan where his father couldn't reach.
could it be that God was the one who prompted Terah, but he couldn't fulfill the destiny. has God called us for a purpose and we stopped on the way due to distractions and desires to settle in mediocrity.
⭐ Do we want to die without reaching that height/expectations God has for us, God forbid so. it's time to rise up and continue this race.

THE TOWER OF BABEL ( Gen 11:1-9)

⭐ We see the power of agreement in achieving a task, God said there is nothing they won't achieve by doing this.
And that's why he attacked their understanding, by attacking their communication.(communication is the key to peaceful and understanding coexistence)

⭐ If you don't know how to communicate rightly, you will miss so many destiny relationship.

⭐ We also see the power of the mind... God has seen a finished work of something they just imagined in their minds...(Whatever you want to achieve, it must first start from your mind, you are as far as your mind can take you).

⭐ Everything is first created in the spiritual before it manifests.

⭐ God wanted them to spread and multiply but they all wanted to settle in a place (out of God's will) and make a name for themselves (self glory and selfish ambition) ......
As good as what we are doing may seem. if it's against God's will and has an evil and selfish motive, God can never support such and it can never have a solid root.

Gen.10.8 - One of Cush's descendants was Ni**od, who became a heroic warrior.
Gen.10.9 - He was a mighty hunter in the LORD's sight. His name became proverbial, and people would speak of someone as being "like Ni**od, a mighty hunter in the LORD's sight."

⭐ Can people see our lives and see God glory revealed?
⭐ Can our lives be a good example for people to point to?
⭐ Can our lives become a testimony for excellence and success?
⭐ Can we represent Jesus as his ambassador wherever we are?

If not then we need to run back to the secret place and cry out to God.
We need to be diligent in what we do so we can attain an excellent height. and God will help us

Gen.9.21 - One day he became drunk on some wine he had made and lay naked in his tent.
Gen.9.22 - Ham, the father of Canaan, saw that his father was naked and went outside and told his brothers.
Gen.9.23 - Shem and Japheth took a robe, held it over their shoulders, walked backward into the tent, and covered their father's naked body. As they did this, they looked the other way so they wouldn't see him naked.
Gen.9.24 - When Noah woke up from his drunken stupor, he learned what Ham, his youngest son, had done.
Gen.9.25 - Then he cursed the descendants of Canaan, the son of Ham: "A curse on the Canaanites! May they be the lowest of servants to the descendants of Shem and Japheth."
Gen.9.26 - Then Noah said, "May Shem be blessed by the LORD my God; and may Canaan be his servant.
Gen.9.27 - May God enlarge the territory of Japheth, and may he share the prosperity of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant."

⭐ This applies to your spiritual parents first and then to everyone around you.
⭐ When you see or hear something bad about your spiritual father, how do you handle it, do you pray for them, cover their nakedness, advice them if possible or do you condemn then and gossip it even to the unbelievers?
⭐ When your fellow Christian or anyone around you is backsliding or going the wrong way and doing the wrong things. do you go around gossiping them or do you pray for them, correct them and conceal it.
⭐ I know most of the times to gossip about it instead of doing the right thing was out of ignorance and probably you don't know what to do or have the boldness to speak to the person.
but you need to rely on the help of the holy spirit for wisdom, boldness and guidance, avoid making such mistakes. you are no longer ignorant after seeing this.

NOAH (Gen 6-8)
⭐ The life of Noah has shown us that it is possible to live a righteous life, pleasing to God even in a world where everyone is doing opposite.
⭐. We can stand as gate for our family, nation or community and because of us, these people can be save.
⭐ It took total trust on God for Noah to start building a big boat he has never seen before, for years without a sign of rain.
⭐ We see God giving specifications on how the boat should be. many of us would want things our own way and will feel burdened with all the rules but the truth is that God is not just after us keeping to rules but because he knows the end from the beginning, he knows what would be our downfall and won't, he knew the intensity of the flood and imagine if Noah disobeyed had and used a fake wood , then time would reveal if he was wise during the flood. you would be supprised that the same God who asked him to do the boat might watch him drown when the boat crashes except he chooses to show mercy. this is the same way many people even in God's will have made their own decisions and when troubles come, they question God's will.
⭐ Noah knew the way to God's heart(sacrifice and Thanksgiving)

LESSONS FROM CAIN AND ABEL(Gen 4)
⭐ God is not after what we give but the posture of our hearts .
⭐ when we are face with the temptation to do evil, there is always that voice trying to call us back and warn us, but it won't force us. the choice is all ours.
⭐ One wrong leads to another but we have the choice to either correct it by being repentant and making amends or like Cain, go deeper into the pit of sin.
⭐ In the life of Cain we still see God unconditional love shown to him even in his sin, God has not given up on you. avoid self condemnation.

Gen.5.21 - When Enoch was 65 years old, his son Methuselah was born.
Gen.5.22 - After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived another 300 years in close fellowship with God, and he had other sons and daughters.
Gen.5.23 - Enoch lived 365 years in all.
Gen.5.24 - He enjoyed a close relationship with God throughout his life. Then suddenly, he disappeared because God took him.
Gen.5.25 - When Methuselah was 187 years old, his son Lamech was born.
Gen.5.26 - After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived another 782 years, and he had other sons and daughters.
Gen.5.27 - He died at the age of 969.

HERE WE SEE 2 DIFFERENT DESTINIES
⭐ One lived a life of purpose in fellowship with God.
⭐ The other lived longer but he was just counting numbers and bearing children
⭐ what can be said about our lives
⭐ How long do we want to continue counting age without impact or fulfillment.
GOD IS CALLING YOU TO ARISE FROM YOUR SLEEP AND START BEARING FRUITS.... not just babies, destiny fruit, disciples and a life of results and purpose with intimacy with God.
Walk with God in your journey on earth.....

LEARN A LESSON FROM ADAM AND EVE 2........

⭐Gen.3.11 - And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
(who told you, which voice have you been listening to outside God, why sooo much effort to feel justified?)

⭐ Adam and Eve could not own up to their sins, they didn't repent of it but instead shifted blames and gave excuse (God forgives a repentant heart).

⭐ The blame ended on Satan and since he didn't shift it, ended up ruling the earth (leadership is being responsible enough to accept wrong and be accountable)

⭐ There was also in the garden, a tree of Life which they weren't restricted from, but they were never interested in it, but admired a beautiful evil ( flesh and the devil never lead you to any good thing).

⭐ The devil is the father of all liars, he lied about them being as wise as God and not dieing (but they actually died spiritually after eating the fruit, they lost the wonderful relationship with God and sin brought physical death to humanity. also they didn't become as wise as God, if they did they wouldn't have used fig leaves that will dry and fall off, but would have used animal skin like God did. avoid the lies of the devil)

LEARN A LESSON FROM ADAM AND EVE..........

⭐ Eve did not receive the instruction directly from God and that was why the devil could easily pass through her( know God and his word for yourself)

⭐ She gave ears and attention to a strange voice, instead of ignoring or rebuking it(mind what you let into your mind, what you ponder on and who you listen to)

⭐ She trusted and listen to the strange voice that was why she became attracted to the tree and started seeing how tasty and beautiful it is(Jas.1.14 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jas.1.15 - Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.)

⭐ They suddenly realized they were naked(sin takes away the glory and covering of God from our lives and shame and guilt set in) that was why they sew fig leaves and were hiding from God.(they started trying with the strength of man to glory themselves)
