Knowledge is power and our Teens are grabbing it! 📚✨

Last weekend, FTI Teens alongside one of our Directors represented us at the ongoing International Book Exhibition in Abuja.

It was an inspiring time of learning, exposure, and connecting with the world of books and ideas. This is how we build leaders who read, think and lead.

Last weekend, the FTI Delta Team went on a visit that will stay in our hearts forever ❤️

During the weekend, we had the fulfilment of visiting an orphanage to speak to the children and support them as they resume school.
We were able to provide new textbooks and food items to set them up for the term.

This achievement would not have been possible without the love and support of:

Teens, real growth starts when you stop saying:
`"It’s not my fault"`

`"It’s my parents’ job"`

Take responsibility for:
1. Your grades - Study. Ask questions. Show up.
2. Your character- How you talk, how you act, how you treat people.
3. Your skills- Practice that painting, baking, photography. Don’t wait.
4. Your choices- Every decision today is building your tomorrow.

Nobody is coming to live your life for you.
FTI can teach you, but YOU have to do the work.

SHE FOUGHT HER MOTHER… BECAUSE HER PHONE WAS SEIZED! 😳

A phone was taken away, and instead of tears, pleading or disagreement, she chose to fight the woman who gave birth to her

This is bigger than a phone of course,
It is about upbringing,, fallout of permissive parenting, self-control, boundaries, respect and the kind of adult this child is becoming.

Young people hear this, you are allowed to be angry, you are even allowed to disagree to an extent but never to become violent.

If losing your belonging can make you lose control of yourself to the extent of fighting your parents then you have got a big problem, your brain needs evaluation too.

Learn self-control because one day, your parents will not be there to correct you and you may just end up disgracing yourself . The character you build today will follow you into adulthood.

The confidence, creativity, and discipline your teen is building in *Math, Painting, Photography, and Baking* this summer should continue.

Teens, you’ve seen what you can do.
You solved problems. You created art. You shot photos. You baked treats.
That’s proof you can do more.

Skill is not seasonal.
Growth doesn’t take a break.
The teens who win tomorrow are the ones who practice today.
