The T**i Oaks Foundation made a meaningful and visible impact during the Ovia Osese Carnival 2026, demonstrating how targeted community support can elevate cultural events beyond celebration into genuine social development.
By providing meals for over 1,000 participants, the foundation addressed a critical need, ensuring that attendees, many of whom travel or participate actively in the festivities, could fully engage without concern for basic welfare. This kind of large-scale feeding initiative not only supports physical well-being but also strengthens the communal spirit that festivals like Ovia Osese are built on.
Equally commendable was the distribution of school bags and writing materials to pupils. This gesture goes beyond charity; it is an investment in education and the future of the community. For many families, such support can ease financial pressure and encourage children to remain committed to their studies.
Civil Society Organisations within Ogori-Magongo LGA have rightly praised these efforts. Their recognition highlights the broader significance of the foundation’s work, not just as a one-time intervention, but as a model of responsible and impactful philanthropy.
There is also a strong case for formal recognition. The Ogori Descendants Union (ODU) would be justified in honoring the T**i Oaks Foundation with a Stewardship Award for Humanitarian Services. Such recognition would not only celebrate the foundation’s contributions but also set a standard that encourages other individuals and organizations to contribute meaningfully with their resources.
Sustained acts like these create ripple effects, strengthening community bonds, supporting education, and reinforcing the value of giving back.
“The intervention of the T**i Oaks Foundation during the Ovia Osese Carnival 2026 is both commendable and far-reaching in its impact. The provision of meals to over one thousand participants, alongside the distribution of educational materials to our pupils, demonstrates a profound commitment to the welfare and advancement of our community. This is indeed service of the highest order.”
-Chief Dominic Ogbodo-
“The contributions of the T**i Oaks Foundation transcend ordinary philanthropy and reflect a deliberate investment in the future of our people. By supporting our children and enriching this important cultural festival, the Foundation has reinforced both our educational aspirations and our cherished heritage.”
-HRH Edward Olatunde
“The generosity and foresight exhibited by the T**i Oaks Foundation are worthy of the highest commendation. Their benevolent actions have brought tangible relief and inspiration to many within our community. Such exemplary humanitarian service should be recognised and emulated by all well-meaning individuals and organisations.”
