At the ongoing Cleaner Kano Initiative in celebration of World Clean-Up Day 2026 is in full progress, and the DGIF Kano Team is on ground participating effectively!

The Program was Organized and lead by zainab Abubakar Founder and Executive Director Keep It Clean Africa in partnership with Kano State Government, NES, Bayero University Kano, RAN, MATA and other amazing partners, this initiative has mobilized 200+ volunteers across Kano Line Park and Bayero University Kano New Site.

What has made this process truly inspiring is the energy on the field:

At Dcenturyvibes Global International Foundation (DGIF), our Kano Team has been actively leading in partnership - coordinating volunteers, sensitizing the public, and ensuring proper waste sorting and collection for recycling.

A huge shout-out to our backbone for this exercise:
• The vibrant Students of Bayero University Kano (BUK) who came out in large numbers with so much passion for a cleaner campus and community.

• The gallant NYSC Kano State Corps Members whose dedication and community spirit have been exceptional from mobilization to actual clean-up.
This is partnership in action. This is youth taking ownership of their environment.

Together, we are not just picking waste, we are building a culture of environmental responsibility for a Greener Kano.

I've learned this over the years:

No one will listen to your great ideas if they don't trust your presence first.

Executive Presence Oluwafunke Olayemi is that intangible quality that makes people perceive you as a leader before you even speak.

True leadership is not performance. It is presence. Your approach, your courage, your simplicity, the respect, the charisma, time management......

It's not about pretending to be someone you're not.

It's about developing a level of confidence, clarity, and intentionality that makes people naturally trust your leadership.

That quiet confidence that says, "I know who I am, I know where I'm going, and you can trust me to lead."

This is what I now coach young professionals, women, and emerging leaders on every day.

You don't need to change your personality to be a leader. You need to become more intentional with it.

One thing we are particularly proud of about LIMA is that learning doesn't stop when the session ends.

Our mentees are encouraged to apply what they learn.

Through the program, mentees have not simply attended sessions. They have been challenged to think differently about who they are, what they can become, and the impact they can create.

From leadership development to personal branding, networking, public speaking, strategic thinking and turning ideas into action, LIMA has created a space where learning becomes practical.

The most beautiful part?
