And perhaps you have never truly striven against your own desires for the sake of Allah.

By Allah, if we are asked when the records are opened: “This is your sin… when you desired it, you went straight to it.

Did you ever pause for My sake? Did you struggle against yourself, even a little, for Me?

Did you hold yourself accountable for Me? Did you give Me My due right?” No.

It's alright let's overlook those. They are gone… then another, “Why did you do this?” No answer.

A whole year of your life passes, and you are still upon the same sin. Then two years… still the same. Five years… still unchanged. And so your life continues like that.

It means your faces will likely be dark with shame before Allah on the Day of Judgment.

And this! Is something truly frightening.

Trust in Allah and leave your affairs to him.
