Connak foundation which started in 2012 awarded scholarships to the initial 10 pupils and later increased the number to 20 pupils in Umuegwu Okpuala Afugiri in Umuahia North L.G.A. The founda

tion recently increased the number of recipients to 60 with the inclusion of more pupils still in Ohuhu and neighboring communities in Umuahia North L.G.A of Abia State.
• The foundation provides Tuition for all the pupils
• New school uniforms and sandals yearly
• Complete textbooks and exercise books

With the emergence of technology as part of the 21 century learning, the foundation tries to bridge the gap by hiring a computer Tutor and providing Laptops for each student to equip them for the 21st century workplace. Two brand new air conditioned buses were later purchased in 2014 for school run in both communities. So many widows are benefiting from the NON refundable interest free loans to help their businesses. Youths from these communities are also benefiting from our Youth Initiative program where some are involved in skill acquisition training's, transportation businesses and small scale enterprises. The founder, 5 man BOT, CEO and her Staffs continue to carry out the Connak vision and expand the scope of its program services.

Celebrating Another Connak Success Story! 🎓
