🇳🇬 Samuel Okoro Emerges as Program Manager, RACE Africa — Abia

We are pleased to announce Samuel Okoro as the Program Manager for RACE Africa, Abia, Nigeria.

This appointment represents another important step in our efforts to strengthen the RACE Africa community across Nigeria and create stronger local structures through which young people can discover potential, develop their capabilities and turn ideas into action.

Samuel brings to this role a strong combination of people development, marketing, business and program experience.

He is a Social Media Manager and Strategist with a passion for business, marketing and coaching. He currently works in business operations and development for an e-commerce company, where he oversees organizational activities and contributes to strategic growth.

But perhaps one of the strongest parts of Samuel's journey has been his commitment to helping other people grow.

For the past five years, he has worked as a public speaking coach, helping people, particularly young people, develop genuine confidence and find their voice. Over the past six years, he has also trained more than 700 individuals in personal development and affiliate marketing.

What does it really mean to be disruptive?

At the RACE Hangout Abuja, we unpacked what disruption looks like beyond the buzzword.

For founders, it’s about challenging the norm and finding new ways to scale impact. For employees, it’s about ownership, initiative, and leaving things better than you found them.

Then we put the conversations aside for a bit—played games, connected, laughed, and enjoyed the room.

Good people. Honest conversations. New connections. A little disruption.

That was the RACE Hangout Abuja. 🫶🏾
