Congratulations to Our Executive Director!
We proudly celebrate our Executive Director, Rotarian Chinedu Vincent Okoro, for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of mental health and student wellbeing through his British Council-supported action research project, "Using Mindfulness-Based Interventions to Reduce Stress and Anxiety Among Students," carried out at Olumawu School.
In recognition of the impact of this important work, a delegation from the British Council Nigeria led by Donna McGowan, visited on Tuesday, 9 June, to host an Action Research PR media engagement showcasing the project's achievements and its positive influence on students' mental health and learning outcomes.
The event attracted leading media organisations, including The Sun, The Guardian Nigeria, Leadership Newspaper, Radio Nigeria, Arise News, and Nigerian Television Authority, among others, all of whom witnessed and documented this remarkable milestone.
This achievement reflects Rotarian Chinedu Vincent Okoro's unwavering commitment to educational innovation, evidence-based practice, and the advancement of mental health support for young people. We are immensely proud of this global recognition and the positive impact his work continues to make in the lives of students.
