Every year, the International Day of the Girl Child gives us a moment to celebrate girls, their voices, their potential, their dreams, and the future they can create.
Beyond the celebration, this year we are asking:
What are we putting in front of girls today that will help them make informed choices about tomorrow?
A girl can have a dream and still not know what it takes to pursue it.
She can be talented and still never discover where that talent could take her.
She can hear that she should “be successful” without ever having the opportunity to learn about the different ways she can build a career, develop a skill, pursue an education, or turn an idea into something of her own.
Sometimes, what makes the difference is:
📌 Being introduced to a possibility early enough.
📌 Meeting a woman whose journey expands what she believes is possible.
📌 Hearing about an opportunity she had never encountered.
📌 Asking questions and getting honest answers.
📌 Learning that there is more than one way to build the future she imagines.
And that is the vision behind SheRose Conference 2026.
On the 30th, we are bringing together 300 senior secondary school for conversations around Choices, skills and opportunities.
