Our Founder and CEO, Noel Ifeanyi Alumona, met with Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India, during a global dialogue with a few young leaders. And one message stayed with him.

‘Climate change is not an environmental issue alone. It is a moral one.’

The Dalai Lama has been clear over the years: a clean environment is a human right, and global warming is an urgent threat to humanity’s future. Those words matter, especially for communities already carrying the weight of inequality, violence, and economic exclusion.

At The People's Project for Social & Climate Justice, this belief shapes everything we do.

We work where climate breakdown meets social injustice. Where floods, heat, and displacement hit the poorest first. Where silence and weak governance cost people their dignity, safety, and lives.

Climate justice without social justice is incomplete. Social justice without climate action is fragile. Our work is about accountability, community power, and systems that finally put people first.
