HOSTING STATE: Jigawa State

ARRIVAL DATE : Thursday, December 3, 2026

OPENING CEREMONY: Friday, December 4, 2026

CLOSING CEREMONY: Saturday, December 12, 2026

The venues for the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the male and female recitation, will be announced in due course, In Sha Allah.

DAY 2 OF THE NOC (NATIONAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE)INSPECTION OF 41st EDITION OF THE NATIONAL MUSABAQAH JIGAWA 2026.

The National organizing committee continues their inspection as usual to several places which includes;

01) Dutse township stadiums for opening and closing ceremonies.

02) Manpower development institutes for the females recitation venue,musabaqah hall,living rooms,nursing room,toilets,clinics,female guest rooms among others

03) General Yakubu Gawon NYSC Oriet.Camp for Male recitation venue,accommodation and so on.

04) Kitchen,stores,dining rooms and others

05) Screenings sites of the National Judges Participants and other officials of the 41st National Musabaqah Jigawa 2026.

06) Accommodation for the coordinators,Male officials and other dignitaries.

The inspection activities were chaired by the chairman of the LOC committee Honorable commissioner of higher education prof. Isah Yusuf Chamo and his deputy Honorable commissioner for Basic Education Dr Lawan Yunusa Danzomo alongside the executive secretary Islamic education Bureau Dr Mubarak Abdulwahab Hassan.

JIGAWA STATE WELCOMES CENTER FOR ISLAMIC STUDIES UDUS OFFICIALS FOR NATIONAL MUSABAQAH OFFICIAL VISIT.

The State Coordinator of Jigawa State Musabaqah alongside Abu Rumaisa representative of APWON and National Media under the administration of Islamic Education Bureau escorts the officials of the center for Islamic Studies usmanu Dan Fodio University Sokoto from Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport to Dutse the Capital of Jigawa State.

The main purpose of the visit is to oversight all the places main for conducting the 41st Edition of the National Musabaqah at Jigawa in the month of November 2026,the visits includes the following dignitaries;-

01) Prof. Mansur Ibrahim Sokoto MNI(National Coordinator)

02) Prof. Sadiya Omar OON(BOT Chairperson).

03) Prof. Abubakar Yelwa Muhammad(Director Center/Chairman NOC).

04) Prof. Bello Daudun Bada(Representative of VC UDUS).

05) Dr. Aliyu Muhammad Tukur Bakura(APWON National Chairman).

06) Sheikh Yusuf Muhammad Koko(National Secretary)

07) Sheikh Kamaludden Akintunde(Secretary Foscom)
