'Bring up a child in the way he/she should go and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.' Truer words were never spoken.
While educating some students in one of our public schools, we also left there educated by these young girls. They live a totally different life from quite a number of us and it makes one wonder how they laugh, joke and smile about things. It truly opened our eyes to the privileges we are accustomed to, never seeing them as privileges but as the norm.
We are sponsoring some who might have to drop out of school after Jnr WAEC due to financial challenges their parents are faced with.
Let's help these children with the basic requirements and maybe help them to even further.
