Success Story
At the Darlington Home of Mercy Foundation with esteem partners Literacy Centre, powered by NMEC, learners are making remarkable progress. Many students joined the programme without the ability to speak or write in English. After just the first lesson, they were able to pronounce and write the English alphabet.
A notable example is Mrs. Rashidat, who initially did not understand English but successfully learned to pronounce and write all 26 letters of the alphabet. Her achievement reflects the positive impact of the literacy programme on adult learners.
