TESTIMONIES FROM OUR JUST CONCLUDED SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING IN GALADIMAWA

My name is Ataidu Ilemona Helen.
This is my work. It is called Pillow Doughnut.
It all started some time ago when my children would go to school and sometimes be sent back home because of school fees. Whenever they returned home during school hours while other children were still in class, I felt very bad. I said to myself, “I cannot continue like this.”

I decided to learn a skill, so I went to a woman who bakes cakes, egg rolls, and other pastries to ask her to teach me. But the amount she asked me to pay was too much for me. After that, I started doing small jobs like cleaning work just to survive.

One morning, I heard people talking about a group that came to Zimbabwe in Galadimawa to teach skill acquisition. I quickly went there and saw they were teaching pastry making, so I joined immediately.
To the glory of God, I can now make pillow doughnuts, egg rolls, cakes, peanuts, chin-chin, and many other things. And everything I learned was completely free. I did not pay any money.
I want to sincerely thank RegyandHenry Amazing Grace Foundation. May God continue to bless them abundantly.

Looking back on our 3-week Literacy Through Vocational and Psychosocial Support Intervention program in Galadimawa, Abuja, we are proud of the impact made within the community.
From learning and skill development to collaboration and growth, the program created meaningful experiences for participants and facilitators alike.
We remain committed to empowering lives through education, vocational training, and psychosocial support.
