Today, we concluded our PurposeForte | webinar on “The Future of Work: Are Young Africans Ready for an AI-Powered World?”

And what a conversation it was.

We brought together young Africans and thought leaders to examine the rapidly changing world of work, the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence, and the question that should concern all of us:

Are we preparing young Africans not just to survive the AI revolution, but to lead in it?

A huge thank you to our speakers:

Prince Ezeabata Chibuzor™
Executive Director, PurposeForte

Paul Akume | Start-up Coach
Executive Director, RACEAfrica

And, Eseoghene Ayomide Awhatorhe for hosting us.

Thank you for sharing your insights, challenging perspectives, and contributing to a conversation that is becoming increasingly important for Africa’s future.

And to everyone who joined us, asked questions, shared their thoughts, and stayed through the conversation — thank you.

At PurposeForte, we believe Africa’s greatest resource is not simply what we have beneath our soil, but what we can build in the minds and hands of our people.

The future of work is already here.

The question is no longer “Will AI change the way we work?”

It is: “Will we be ready?”

This conversation may have ended, but the work continues.

The world is changing, and technology is creating new opportunities faster than ever before.

At PurposeForte, we are committed to helping young people maximize these opportunities through innovation, leadership, career development, and strategic exposure.

In 2023, we hosted one of UniAbuja’s biggest career events — AFTER SCHOOL: WHAT’S NEXT? — and introduced the first merit-based Distinguished Undergraduate Students Award in the university’s history.

Now, in partnership with the Office of the SUG Vice President, we are back bigger and better with:

🚀 AFTER SCHOOL: WHAT’S NEXT? 2026
🏆 DISTINGUISHED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AWARD 2026

The future belongs to those who are prepared for it.

The world is changing faster than ever before. Technology is redefining industries, reshaping careers, creating new opportunities, and disrupting traditional systems. In this new era, the future will belong to young people who are prepared, informed, innovative, and adaptable.

At PurposeForte , we believe that opportunities should not be limited by background, access, or circumstance. We are a Organization that maximizes technology for opportunity, innovation, leadership, and strategic partnerships to connect young people with the opportunities that shape the future.

In 2023, we made history at the University of Abuja through the maiden edition of AFTER SCHOOL: WHAT’S NEXT?— one of the largest student-focused career and leadership events on campus.

That same year, we introduced the Distinguished Undergraduate Students Award, the first merit-based student recognition of its kind in the university’s history, created to celebrate excellence, innovation, leadership, and impact among students.

We also set a historic record by hosting the first sitting Vice Chancellor ever hosted on a student-led independent platform at UniAbuja; Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah. It was a defining moment that reinforced our belief that young people can build institutions of excellence and influence meaningful conversations when given the right platform.

Today, PurposeForte is evolving beyond an event platform into a technology-driven opportunity ecosystem for young Africans.

We are proud to announce, in partnership with the Office of the SUG Vice President, Goodness Abah the return of:

🚀 AFTER SCHOOL: WHAT’S NEXT? 2026
And
🏆 THE DISTINGUISHED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AWARD 2026

This is more than a conference. It is a movement preparing young people for the realities of a rapidly changing world; from career development and innovation to digital opportunities, leadership, enterprise, and impact, our mission remains clear: in a bid to help young people maximize opportunities through technology, knowledge, and strategic exposure.

The future is no longer coming. It is already here; And, at PurposeForte, we are committed to ensuring that young people are ready for it.
