A man with even mild erectile dysfunction is often heavily stigmatized and s*x-shamed by many in society...

Yet, there are far more women suffering from s*xual dysfunction—particularly regarding pleasure and pe*******on disorders—than men.

While erectile dysfunction gets most of the public spotlight when discussing male s*xual health, Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) manifests in several distinct, often overlooked ways:

1. Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD):
A persistent or recurring lack of s*xual interest or desire that causes personal distress. It isn't just "being tired"—it is an involuntary absence of s*xual motivation.

2. Sexual Aversion Disorder:
An active fear, disgust, or severe aversion to ge***al contact or s*xual touch. This can stem from past trauma, religious/cultural shame, or severe physical pain.

3. Genito-Pelvic Pain/Pe*******on Disorder (Vaginismus / Dyspareunia):
Involuntary muscle spasms of the pelvic floor that make pe*******on painful or impossible, or chronic structural pain during intimacy. When s*x causes physical pain, the brain naturally learns to hate and avoid it.

4. Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD):
The physiological inability to become aroused or stay lubricated, even when the mind wants to participate.

5. Unrecognized As*xuality:
A naturally occurring orientation where a person experiences little to no s*xual attraction. When forced into traditional relationship expectations, it causes deep emotional distress.

So why are men with erectile dysfunction openly mocked and stigmatized, while women suffering from severe s*xual dysfunctions are allowed to suffer in silence without accountability or care? 🤔🤔

A GIFT IS A FALLACY

There's No Such Thing As A 'True Gift'

Every gift is a transactional benevolence in which the giver may implicitly want something in return.

What do I mean my the phrase 'Transactional Benevolence?'

Let me explain!

The fact that the giver gives the so-called GIFT to the recipient without the receiver asking for it....That's benevolence on the part of the giver.

But more often than not, the recipient fails to acknowledge the transactional undertone that is embedded in the gift. He fails to innerstand that virtually every gift is a psychological-trap for reciprocity when circumstance demands it.

In sociology, this situation is inferred to as THE DILEMMA OF A GIFT.

A French sociologist, Marcel Mauss has this to say:

"In human history, there is no such thing as a free gift. Every gift automatically creates a three-part obligation:

1. The obligation to give (to show status or goodwill).

2. The obligation to receive (you cannot refuse without causing offense).

3. The obligation to reciprocate (you must return something of equal or greater value later).

Even when the expectation is unspoken or delayed, the psychological trap is set the moment the gift is accepted."

A certain philosopher, named, Jacques Derrida took it even further. He said, and I quote:

"For a "true gift" to exist, three strict conditions must be met:

1. The recipient must not know it’s a gift (so they don't feel indebted).

2. The giver must forget they gave it (so they don't feel superior or expect gratitude).

3. No value or recognition can be gained by anyone."

But, because human consciousness rarely works this way, Derrida concluded that the moment a gift is recognized as a gift, it ceases to be one. It becomes an exchange.

It becomes "Psychological ROI (Return on Investment)"

The ROI may not always be concrete; it could be in the form of SOCIAL CAPITAL, EGO VALIDATION, even emotional satisfaction etc.

Every gift is an unspoken contract.
