Happy International Day Of Charity.

Charity is more than giving what we have, it is choosing to make someone’s journey a little easier.

At the Mariam Ladi Yunusa Foundation, we believe meaningful change begins with compassion and grows through collective action, empowering women and girls, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities where they are needed most.
Every act of kindness matters. Every contribution can become someone’s turning point.

19/08/2026

On this World Humanitarian Day, we pause to honor those who put humanity first, the helpers, the healers, and the silent givers who bring hope in the darkest times.

At the Mariam Ladi Yunusa Foundation, humanitarian service is more than charity ,it is a commitment to restore dignity where conflict and crisis have taken it away.

From providing trauma counseling for survivors, to creating access to education, to empowering young girls in Baza and Gulak with life-changing skills, we believe that every act of service is a seed of restoration.

Today, we reaffirm our mission:
To stand where the need is greatest.
To serve with compassion.
To rebuild lives with love and purpose.

Because humanity is strongest when we lift each other up.

True empowerment doesn’t end when the training does, it begins when responsibility takes root.

For the 20 girls of the Ambassadorship Cycle, learning ICT, agriculture, and leadership was just the foundation. The real transformation began when they started taking responsibility, for their communities, for younger girls, and for the change they want to see.

Now, they’re not just beneficiaries of impact; they are carriers of it.

At the Mariam Ladi Yunusa Foundation, we believe empowerment must go hand-in-hand with responsibility, because when a girl understands her role in shaping her world, she becomes unstoppable.

Through the Ambassadorship Cycle in Baza and Gulak, we are helping young women understand that meaningful change starts by listening, to ideas, to experiences, and to the needs of their communities.
At the Mariam Ladi Yunusa Foundation, we believe that those who listen with empathy lead with wisdom. And when leadership is rooted in understanding, the impact is deeper, stronger, and more lasting.
Because every lasting solution begins with someone who chose to listen.
