Today, the world marks World Indigenous Peoples Day, a moment to recognise Indigenous peoples, celebrate their cultures and reaffirm their rights.

For the Abuja Original Inhabitants, these rights are not just a global conversation. They are lived realities that demand recognition, protection and action.

As CHRICED, we remain committed to standing with Abuja’s Original Inhabitants as they work to protect their identity, heritage, land, culture and place in the development of the Federal Capital Territory.

Tomorrow, we bring this conversation home.

Join us as we commemorate World Indigenous Peoples Day with the and amplify the voices, stories and aspirations of the people whose heritage is at the heart of Abuja.
