Dear Prudent Woman, let me tell you something.
You know Elizabeth, the wife of Zechariah, who was described in the Bible as a righteous and blameless woman before God. Yet, she carried a deep pain—she was barren and had advanced in age (Luke 1:5–7).
You may be wondering why you are experiencing so many tribulations despite your goodness. Dear, listen to Elizabeth’s story further—there is a message for you from God.
In Mama Elizabeth’s time, childlessness was not just a personal sorrow; it came with shame and silent judgment from society. Despite this, she did not turn away from God. She remained faithful, serving Him alongside her husband.
Then came a divine moment.
While Zechariah was serving in the temple, the angel Gabriel appeared to him and announced that Elizabeth would bear a son—John the Baptist—a child with a great purpose.
At first, it seemed impossible. How could this happen at their old age?
But God does not consult human limitations.
In due time, Elizabeth conceived.
And when she did, she said something so profound.
“The Lord has done this for me… In these days He has shown His favour and taken away my disgrace among the people.” (Luke 1:25)
God remembered her.
Not late. Not delayed. Right on time.
Elizabeth’s story is not just about having a child—it is about waiting with dignity, faith, and unwavering trust in God… without compromising.
In our world today, as women, we are confronted and tested in many areas. Some in the same measure as Elizabeth, some in want or scarcity, others in the loss of a dear beloved one—and the list goes on.
This morning, just before preparing for church, the Lord asked me to strengthen you because He is with you.
He said He knows you are waiting—for a child, for marriage, for healing, for restoration, for direction. And He will come through right on time.
He is saying:
1. Your waiting is not a sign of His absence or abandonment
Elizabeth was righteous, yet she waited. Your situation is not a reflection of God’s neglect. He sees you clearly.
2. God’s timing is intentional
He is preparing a testimony for you. That is why Elizabeth did not just give birth—she gave birth to purpose.
What seems delayed to man is divinely scheduled by God.
3. Your story will bring glory to God
Your testimony will not just be about what you received, but about what God proved through your life.
4. Shame will not have the final word
Just like Elizabeth said, God is able to remove every form of reproach—public or private.

As you step into worship this Sunday, carry this in your heart:
Lift your head high—your story is not over.
Worship not because you have seen it, but because you trust Him.
Let your praise declare: “God remembers me.”
Even when nothing seems to be happening, heaven is not silent.
Just like Elizabeth
🌿 Your season will change.
🌿 Your testimony will come.
🌿 Your waiting will not be wasted.
Hold on. God is faithful.
