STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION ENGAGEMENT

Earlier today, the Prudent Women Advancement and Advocacy Foundation (PWAAF), together with members of the Prudent Women Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited, held a strategic engagement with top directors of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Abuja.

The engagement focused on areas of mutual interest and collaboration in line with the Ministry’s mandate, particularly poverty reduction, women’s economic empowerment, social inclusion, sustainable livelihoods and grassroots impact.

Speaking during the meeting, the President of Prudent Women emphasised the importance of empowering women economically and creating sustainable pathways out of poverty. She further assured the Ministry of Prudent Women’s readiness to work collaboratively with the Ministry, even beyond its own membership, to help ensure that poverty-reduction and empowerment interventions reach women at the grassroots.

We remain committed to building meaningful partnerships that create real opportunities, strengthen women and positively impact families and communities. 🤝🏾💜

For us as a women-focused Cooperative, we are not interested in amassing profits; we are not interested in inflicting pains on our members in the form of loans like some financial institutions do.
