Happy New Month from all of us at FEECA.
March is here, and we step into it with hope and strength.

Every new month is another chance to speak up for our children, to protect the innocent, and to heal the hurting.

As we move through March, let us be more watchful, more caring, and more bold. The boy child can be abused too. The girl child deserves protection too. Every child matters.

Together, we can create a safer community.

In 2022, during a FEECA sensitisation outreach, one of our volunteers held a banner that read boldly:
“Boy Child Can Be Abused Too.”

We didn’t print that for attention. We printed it because of real stories. Real tears. Real damage.

As recent conversations trend online about resurfaced statements that appear to sexualize minors, this is a sober reminder: child abuse has no gender.

Boys are abused too.
By older women.
By older men.
And too often, society laughs it off.

I work with teenagers. I hear what many people don’t hear. A grown adult making sexual comments about a child — whether framed as a joke or not — is not harmless. It normalizes danger.

Parents, protect your sons as intentionally as you protect your daughters. Teach them boundaries. Teach them that their bodies belong to them. Give them language to speak up.

This is not about dragging anyone.
This is about safeguarding children.
Leave children alone.

Great Eastern Academy, The Presbyterian Secondary School, and Newlife Montessori.

In total, we reached over 1,000 students and pupils with our message of safety, awareness, and hope.
