🎉 YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA, OGUN STATE CHAPTER, CELEBRATES HER 4TH ASSEMBLY SPEAKER, RT. HON. ONIYITAN EZEKIEL AKINBODE, ON HIS BIRTHDAY 🎉

The leadership and entire membership of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter, heartily felicitate with our distinguished 4th Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oniyitan Ezekiel Akinbode Bodmas, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, celebrated today, 20th October 2026.

YAN OGUN AND IPAC: TOGETHER FOR PEACEFUL POLITICS IN OGUN STATE

Peace is the foundation of meaningful development, and young people have a vital role to play in building a peaceful and democratic society.

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter, has taken an important step towards promoting peaceful politics through its strategic engagement with the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State. This engagement reflects a shared commitment to political tolerance, constructive dialogue, responsible leadership, and the protection of human lives.

As young leaders, we must understand that politics is not war, and no political ambition is worth the life of any Nigerian. Political differences should never divide us to the point of violence, hatred, or destruction. Instead, we must embrace dialogue, respect one another's opinions, and work together for the progress of our dear Ogun State.

This partnership is a call to action for all political actors, youth leaders, party supporters, and stakeholders to reject political violence, intimidation, and every act capable of threatening our peace. Elections should be a platform for expressing our choices, not a reason to shed blood.

At YAN Ogun State Chapter, we believe that the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow; we are also leaders of today. Therefore, we must lead by example, promote civic responsibility, encourage peaceful elections, and contribute positively to the growth of our democracy.

YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA, OGUN STATE ASSEMBLY ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH INTER-PARTY ADVISORY COUNCIL (IPAC)

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State.

This partnership is aimed at strengthening youth participation in politics, promoting democratic governance, civic education, and fostering inclusive dialogue between young people and political stakeholders across Ogun State.

We believe that by collaborating with IPAC, we can create more opportunities for Ogun youth to be actively involved in leadership, policy formulation, and nation-building.

This is the beginning of greater things to come. We call on all youth in Ogun State to stay connected and be part of this movement.

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter cordially invites the general public to its Fourth Legislative Convergence 2026 and Investiture of the YAN Patron.

Theme: “Nation-Building Through Youth Leadership and Patronage”

The event will bring together young leaders, distinguished personalities, stakeholders, and partners for meaningful discussions, leadership engagement, mentorship, and the celebration of youth participation in nation-building.

Earlier today, The Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria joined the delegates of leos Multiple District Nigeria and it’s been by the leo multiple district president of leo MD404 Nigeria, to pay a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele

We had a progressive discussion regarding the service activities of the Leo MD and plan towards our Annual MD Convention, Abeokuta 27'.

The Leo Program will always get better under his leadership and as the Speaker of Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Ogun State and always open for partnership across all sectors.

REPORT ON THE COURTESY VISIT TO OGUN STATE AMBULANCE & EMERGENCY SERVICES (OGSAES)

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ogun State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Ambulance & Emergency Services (OGSAES) as part of its commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the people of Ogun State through strategic partnerships.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen collaboration with OGSAES in creating public awareness about the importance of emergency medical services and encouraging residents to make use of the OGSAES emergency hotline, 0811 200 0033, whenever urgent medical assistance is required.

During the meeting, both organizations discussed the need to educate the public on how to respond appropriately during medical emergencies and the importance of contacting the emergency response team promptly. YAN reaffirmed its readiness to leverage its platforms and network across the state to sensitize communities, particularly young people, on the availability of the free emergency response service.

The delegation commended the management and staff of OGSAES for their dedication to saving lives through prompt emergency medical interventions. In response, the management of OGSAES appreciated YAN for the visit and welcomed the proposed collaboration, expressing confidence that the partnership would help increase public awareness and improve access to emergency medical services throughout Ogun State.

The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to work together on awareness campaigns, community engagements, and other initiatives aimed at ensuring that more residents know and utilize the OGSAES emergency hotline (0811 200 0033) for quick and life-saving medical assistance.

Subject: Condolence Visitation to Our Grand Matron

The Speaker and some Honourable Members of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) today paid a condolence visit to our esteemed Grand Matron following the passing of her beloved mother.

The delegation was led by the State Speaker and comprised members of the YAN National Working Committee, the Majority Leader, the Honourable representing Ogun Waterside, Sagamu Youth Stakeholders, and the LEO Multiple District 404 Nigeria Chief of Protocol.

During the visit, the team expressed heartfelt sympathies and prayers, assuring the family of the Assembly’s support during this difficult time.

Mr. Ayoola, son of Mrs. Apedere Clementine, warmly received the delegation and welcomed us on behalf of the family, expressing appreciation for the visit and show of solidarity.

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria stands firmly with our Grand Matron and her family in this moment of grief. We pray that God grants the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and that the soul of the departed rests in perfect peace.
