Today, on the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Childhood Advancement Response and Empowerment Initiative (CARE Initiative) stands in solidarity with survivors and renews its commitment to ending human trafficking.

This year's theme, "Trapped Behind the Scam," reminds us that traffickers often lure victims through deception, false promises, and online scams. Together, we must stay informed, speak up, protect children and vulnerable persons, and strengthen our collective response to this crime.
Since 2009, CARE Initiative has remained committed to advancing the rights of children, responding to violence, and empowering indigent, abused, and underserved children.

Together, we can prevent trafficking. Together, we can protect every child.

Our Founder and the serving National Coordinator of Child Protection Network Nigeria, Mr. Olakunle Sanni yesterday visited some of the schools we work with under the programme in to witness the impressive return of children back to school after the long holiday.

During the visit to these schools, he reminded the teachers and pupils of the importance of thereby asking them to provide with information on other children who are yet to resume back to school probably because they are engaged in hawking, domestic labour, early marriage, prostitution, trafficking or any other abusive or exploitative actions.
