Beloved family, friends, and brethren,

On this blessed first Sunday of the month, I rise with a heart filled with thanksgiving. A new month is always a new gift, but the first Sunday is even more—because it is the altar where we lay down our gratitude, our hopes, and our faith for the journey ahead.

May this first Sunday open the gates of joy for you. May it usher in peace like rivers, strength like mountains, and blessings like showers of rain. May this month not swallow your dreams but nurture them. May your prayers find answers, and may your life shine brighter with every passing day.

🌸 This Sunday, I speak into your month:

May your hands never lack good works.

May your table never lack food.

May your heart never lack joy.

And may your path be lined with favor and light.

As the moon turns its page and ushers us into this brand new month, I stand with a heart full of gratitude and hope. A new month is not just a calendar shift—it is a divine reminder that fresh beginnings are possible, that yesterday’s struggles do not have the final say, and that tomorrow holds brighter promises if we step forward with faith and action.

May this new month be a season of joy for you, a season of strength, of peace, of laughter, and of answered prayers. May every day unfold with opportunities that align with your dreams, and may your steps be guided into favor, growth, and fulfillment.

But beyond our personal journeys, today calls us to also lift our voices for our beloved country. For this day, we do not just say “Happy New Month,” we also say Happy Independence Day to our dear nation. 🎉🇳🇬

‎To my tough sailors, when an old man passes, a library turns to ashes, but when a daring and resilient sailor departs, their seafaring story shatters. The question is, "What narrative will our seafaring journey leave behind?"

‎Just like a river, life flows forward, and the same water cannot be touched twice. This is why the sea is too vast for solitary sailing.

‎Alora Sealords, to a young man considering a voyage, I'd advise exploration. Sailing is a choice, but once you've committed, it becomes a duty. Thus, if one won't set sail until all dangers are cleared, they shouldn't venture into the sea.

‎To all seasoned sailors, may you gather robust treasures (awumen). To all deckhands, endurance matters; a life without challenges lacks victory. Let's not forget our main task on campus—academics before festivities—because only those who sail to anchor are seen as resilient leaders.
