You spoke loudly and unambiguously at the polls last Saturday. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all - supporters and leaders of our great party (APC) who provided leadership at different political units and levels. In the spirit of sportsmanship, I also thank my opponents for raising the stakes and making it a democratic contest.

Now that the competition is over, how to improve the lives of our people will take centre stage. There is no loser in this contest irrespective of party divides and identification. It is our victory, the victory of our people. Thank you, Ebonyi South!!!

Thank you Onicha LGA. Your support yesterday proves the saying that charity begins at home. You are true brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers and uncles.

In all my speeches and engagements, I reiterate the fact that “It is our moment”. What that means is that I will be submissive to your preferences, your desires - our constituents in the district and the state at large, at all times. I emphasize it because I know from the bottom of my heart that this is our era for progressive politics, job creation and partnership for grassroots development. I will make you proud in Abuja.

The summary is that as you have unanimously agreed to send me to represent you in the Senate, I will not fail you. My words shall be my bond. The politics of our dear state has matured to a level where stakeholders arrive at strategic decisions for our development through consensus, without the needless rancour or bitterness that often accompanies such processes. I have maintained that consensus-building in politics is not progressive but efficient and effective. We are at our best concerning consensus in our politics and it is beneficial to our people.

I thank the Executive Governor, H.E. Ogbonna Francis Nwifuru for his presence and emotionally uplifting endorsement and proclamations. I also thank the state chairman of our great party (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha; the chairman of Afikpo North LGA Hon Uchenna Nnajiofor Ibiam and indeed all stakeholders in the state who are growing our politics while working for the economic development of our people.

I am sure that our people will come out in their numbers to seal our victory this Saturday, February 03 2024. On my part, I have succeeded in every assignment in my life. Likewise, I will make our people proud in the Senate and bring home dividends of democracy.

Last week, I conducted what could be described as the highest level of political consultation in the old Afikpo political block. In these consultations, I am negotiating and persuading our people to trust me and our party with their mandate come Feb 03.

When I talk about partnership for grassroots development, I am talking about rebuilding trust in our political institutions by consulting with the people in key sociopolitical decisions. In all crucial political issues that affect our everyday lives, grassroots voices will take center stage under my watch. Our people will no longer be sidelined or alienated in decision-making processes on critical matters affecting their lives. Never Again!!!
