Happy birthday Uncle Iyke Okoronkwo

You are our father, mentor, coach, support system, uncle, perfect model, and counselor. You are God's special gift to us - an angel wearing the face of a man.

In an era where men strive for titles like Apostle, Prophet, and Pastor, you humbly chose to be called Uncle. This title alone has distinguished you, for while we have many prophets, apostles, and ministers, we have only one Uncle Iyke.

In a time when selfishness is the order of the day, you chose selflessness. We've seen you empty your bank account just for us. We've seen you discomfort yourself just for our sake.

You met most of us in our most confused state and you've given us direction and Clarity. Without exaggeration, we met you and we met purpose.

We came across you and we experienced light that has been so bright. A touch with you lit our inner candles and by your push, counsel and Guidance we've started placing fire in other candles.

Thank you for GYF Youth camp meeting Extraordinary.

Thank you for Minister's and Church workers Conference.

Thank you for ACTS 29.

Thank you for Love Panadol.

Thank you for every meeting you've put up just to bring Change and transformation to a decaying world.

You are not the Pastor of any church yet Passion made you gather pastor's of different churches for Ministerial training.

Thank you for staying true to your calling. Thank you for modeling love for Jesus and the Church. Thank you for demonstrating what it means to fulfill purpose. In your light, we have found ours.

Thank you for loving us intentionally. We declare that the earth and everything in it favor you. May you grow from strength to strength.

Thank you for showing us what it means to be a husband. Through your marriage, we now desire kingdom marriages.

May Grace for this new chapter be made sufficient. Amen!

Happy birthday, Uncle Iyke. Happy birthday, Uncle Victor. Happy birthday to a beautiful, handsome man!

We love and celebrate you, sir.

_On behalf of GYF Family._

THANK YOU, JESUS. AND IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU, YOU'D SAY IT TOO.
You woke up this morning.
Your heart didn't ask for permission to beat.
Your lungs didn't send you a reminder to breathe.
Your brain didn't request a password to function.
All of that happened while you were unconscious and completely helpless.
That wasn't hustle. That wasn't your village people failing.
That was mercy.
And mercy has a name. His name is Jesus.
You survived that road trip that should have ended differently.
You survived that moment when the money finished, the account was empty, and nobody picked up the phone.
You survived the betrayal that nearly broke your mind.
You survived the year that took people around you and somehow left you standing.
You didn't just get lucky.
You were covered.
Say it with your full chest.
THANK YOU JESUS.
Understand this. Gratitude is not for the weak.
It is the most powerful confession a human being can make.
It is you admitting that your hustle alone didn't save you.
That your connections alone didn't protect you.
That there were nights, dark and silent, when only Grace stood between you and your worst outcome.
And Grace showed up. Without you deserving it.
The fact that your mind is still sane in this economy that is pushing people to the edge?
Mercy.
The fact that you are still standing after everything this season threw at you?
Mercy.
The fact that your story is not over, that you still have breath, still have time, still have a chance to become everything God placed inside you?
Pure. Unearned. Mercy.
Nobody earns mercy. That is literally what makes it mercy.
So when you look back at the version of you from two years ago and realize you should have been finished.
When you count what was taken and still find more left than what was lost.
When you think about the plan that was set against you that somehow scattered without explanation.
Open your mouth. Mean it. Say it.
THANK YOU JESUS.
Not as a Sunday routine.
Not as something you type and forget.
But as someone who has sat with their own helplessness long enough to know that without Grace, none of this works.
The greatest flex you will ever carry is not your apartment in Lekki, your car, your followers, or your job title.
It is the fact that the God of the universe looked at your mistakes, your mess, your moments of doubt and still chose to cover you.
That deserves more than silence.
So today. Tomorrow. Every single morning you get to open your eyes to another chance.
Say it first. Say it loud. Say it like your life depends on it.
Because honestly?
It does.
THANK YOU JESUS. FOR A MERCY THAT MAKES NO SENSE BUT NEVER STOPS SHOWING UP.

READERS ARE LEADERS. AND WE HAVE PROOF

Let's be brutally honest for a second.

Most young people today would rather scroll for 4 hours than read for 4 minutes. And then they wonder why they're stuck. Why opportunities keep passing them by.

Why they have big dreams but zero roadmap to get there.

Here's the hard truth. You cannot lead what you don't know. And you cannot know what you refuse to learn.

At Global Youth Foundation, we don't just preach this. We live it.

Our International Coordinator, Uncle Iyke Okoronkwo, is one of the most respected coaches and mentors shaping young minds across the globe.

He has raised seasoned leaders in business, politics, entrepreneurship, ministry, and beyond. Men and women who are making serious waves in their fields.

You want to know his secret?

He reads. Consistently. Intentionally. Relentlessly.

Not because someone forces him to. But because he understands something most people don't. That every book is a shortcut to someone else's lifetime of
experience.

Every page is a conversation with the greatest minds that ever lived.

Uncle Iyke didn't build a legacy of raising leaders by accident. It was built page by page, lesson by lesson, book by book.

So we're challenging YOU today.

When last did you read a book? Not a caption. Not a thread. Not a WhatsApp forward. A real book.

If you're serious about your future, pick up a book. Your competition already has.

Global Youth Foundation — raising intentional leaders, one mind at a time.

I was opportuned to handle a topic on Spiritual Sensitivity as part of our Spiritual Development.

In our generation, there are noises everywhere. Distractions are growing, so much pressures on the young one and it has popped the need for spiritual sensitivity.

Just like our bodies have senses like sense of sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell; we also have spiritual senses.

The young people are not too small to develop spiritual senses, they can begin to perceive and respond to God's promptness. God also spoke with Samuel at a tender age (1 Sam. 3:1-10)

Spiritual sensitivity is the ability of a believer to perceive, recognize, and respond to the movements, promptings, and voice of the Holy Spirit. It is having a "sharp" spirit that is not dull to the things of God.

To succeed as a youth in a world full of distractions and spiritual traps, you must develop your spiritual antenna.

Romans 8:14
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

God does not wait until you graduate before He begins to guide you. As a student, God wants to direct your choices, friendships, studies, character, and future. He does this through your spiritual senses.

HOW GOD DIRECT US THROUGH PROMPTINGS, SMALL STILL VOICE OR AUDIBLE VOICE

1. You feel a strong inner warning not to join certain friends

2. You suddenly understand a subject while reading

3 You see the future consequence of a bad decision

4. You realize a relationship or habit is dangerous

5. You feel uneasy about cheating or exam malpractice

HOW STUDENTS CAN SHARPEN THEIR SPIRITUAL SENSES

•Pray daily, even briefly

•Read the Bible consistently

•Obey small instructions

•Avoid sinful habits

•Keep godly friends

WHAT KILLS SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY

•Sin and Purity Issues:
Just as dust covers a camera lens, sin makes your spirit "foggy."

•Over-Indulgence in Media:
Spending 5 hours on TikTok and 5 minutes in prayer makes your spirit weak and your flesh loud.

•An Unforgiving Heart:
Bitterness is a "noise" that drowns out the Holy Spirit.
Prayerlessness: Prayer is the "exercise" that keeps your spiritual senses sharp.

CONCLUSION
You were not created to walk through life guessing. God wants to lead you, warn you of danger, and show you opportunities before they appear. However, sensitivity is a muscle; it must be trained.
When you surrender your life to Jesus, He gives you the Holy Spirit, who is the ultimate Teacher. By staying in the Word and maintaining a clean heart, your spiritual "eyes and ears" will open. You will begin to see what others don't see and hear what others don't hear.

True leadership is birthed when a man’s personal ambition is swallowed up by a Divine Mandate. Our obsession is simple: The Kingdom.

As we begin the GYF International Leaders Retreat today, We are gathering to sharpen our vision, strengthen our hands, and conquer new territories for Christ as leaders in different category.

The journey starts at 5:00 PM today at Nigeria Reformed Church, No 1 Ogoja road, Abakaliki. If you are in Abakaliki or the surrounding zones and you're a leader don't miss this encounter.

At Global Youth Foundation (GYF), we discovered that many young people are struggling with the following distractions.

• Social media addiction.
• Peer pressure.
• Poor study habits.
• Lack of academic focus.
• Weak self-discipline.
• Internal distractions such as fear, laziness, and low motivation.
• External distractions such as digital overload and negative environments.

These distractions have significantly affected students’ intellectual performance and overall development.

That is why GYF goes round schools and campuses, organizing seminars and enlightenment programmes.

• To restore focus and purpose.
• To impart the peace and wisdom of God.
• To equip young people with practical strategies for managing distractions.
• To empower them to handle both internal and external pressures.
• To promote academic excellence, character development, and responsible living.

GYF exists to help young people grow, stay focused, and become disciplined, balanced, and productive individuals.

Thank You
