A Message of Hope and Renewal — Happy Easter from GIIGI BOT Chairman

My Dear Esteemed Members, Partners, Volunteers and Friends of GIIGI;

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! 🕊️

Today, as we join the rest of the world to celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the profound power of hope, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness. Easter is a season that signifies rebirth and new beginnings, principles that resonate deeply with the work we do every day.

This season of renewal perfectly mirrors the core vision we hold dear at the **Grassroots Impact & Intervention for Growth Initiative (GIIGI)**. Just as Easter brings the promise of a new dawn, our collective efforts are dedicated to bringing new life, hope, and improved social well-being to local and underserved communities.

13/01/2026: GRASSROOTS IMPACT & INTERVENTION FOR GROWTH INITIATIVE - GIIGI participated in the Stakeholders Meeting on Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in Ebonyi State hosted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at Abakaliki Office on Tuesday 13 January, 2026.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) informed the participants that INEC has launched the second phase of its Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Ebonyi State which will last from 5th January to 17th April, 2026.
According to Resident Electoral Commissioner, the exercise will cover the registration areas in the 13 LGAs, targeting remote communities.
She encouraged those who turned 18 and those who lost or damaged their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to maximize the opportunity to obtain or replace them. Individuals who want to change their polling units or Political Wards can do so.
INEC, therefore, tasked Community and CSOs Leaders to organize Online Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) using the portal:
cvr.inecnigeria.org
The Registration is very easy, seamless and Quick.
