Our Dear Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has today being 20th April, 2026 signed into law the Abia State Centre for the Rehabilitation of Survivors of R**e, Defilement, Domestic Violence and any form of Human Trafficking Law of 2026 recently passed by the 8th Abia State House Of Assembly.

■■■■ Commends the State House of Assembly for the speedy passage of the law while appreciatig the efforts of his Wife, Her Excellency, Mrs Priscilla Chidinma Otti and other government officials for working towards realising the bill.

It was with great joy that I and my Dear wife, Lolo Peace Uchenna attended the Eldership Ordination of my Dear Brother, Prof. Christopher Okoro Kalu - Rector of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba at the Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria, World Bank Parish, Umuahia.

It is truly marvelous to see God setting my Dear Brother apart as an Elder of the Church. As you are ordained, may the Holy Spirit empower you for every step of this new journey and may your selfless dedication to God's work continue to be a blessing to the Church and to everyone.

Rest in Peace Senior Mother in Isreal BERCY ALUGU NWANKOW ORJI.

Yesterday we joined the Family, friends and well wishers to pay our last respect to Senior Mother in Isreal BERCY ALUGU NWANKOW ORJI who died at the age 69 years.

She was buried yesterday at her husband's home in Ndi Oji Abam after a funeral service @ Ovukwu Central School Field, Ndi Oji Abam by the Eternal Sacred Order Of The Cherubim and Seraphim.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen 🙏

Today the Members of the Abia State House Of Assembly joint Committee on Education led by my humble self and the Committee on Health led by Hon. Emeka Obioma attended the 16th Matriculation Ceremony (2025/2026) Of The Abia State College Of Health Sciences And Management Technology (ABSCOHMAT) Aba.

Hon. Lucky Johnson who is also a member of the both committees was also part of the delegation.

Congratulations to the Matriculating Students and the Management of the Institution for the success of the Ceremony.

Today we joined the good people of Umuahia North, Umuahia South and Ikwuano LGAs as they organized a GRAND CIVIC RECEPTION in honour of our Dear Governor, His Excellency, DR. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR).

The event which held at the Umuahia Township Stadium was in Celebration of the Outstanding Leadership and visible transformation by the Governor across the three Constituencies.

We joined the family, friends and well wishers of the DG Abia Orientation Agency, Lady Ure Abazie to bid farewell to her Elder Brother, Late Arc. Chijioke Ndubuisi Abazie.

He died at the age of 59 years and was buried today after funeral at Ohiya, Umuahia South LGA.

May his soul rest in peace
