Membership: is not just about increasing our numbers; it is about increasing our impact. Every new member brings fresh ideas, new opportunities, and greater capacity to serve our communities. At the same time, retaining our existing members through fellowship, engagement, and meaningful service is just as important.

This month, we challenge every Rotarian to:

1. Invite at least one prospective member to a fellowship or service project.
2. Reconnect with members who have become less active.
3. Be intentional about making every member feel welcomed, valued, and involved.
4. Remember that every Rotarian is a Membership Ambassador.

Let us make August 2026 a month of intentional recruitment, genuine retention, and stronger fellowship. Together, we can build vibrant clubs that continue to do good in the world.

Yesterday's fellowship was both exciting and inspiring as the club celebrated its Membership Appreciation Fellowship in commemoration of Membership and New Club Development Month.

Club President Rtn Uko Augustine Nwankwo, PHF set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing evening.

Highlights of the fellowship included:
✅ Membership Spotlight Session – Esteemed members shared their Rotary journeys, giving us the opportunity to learn from their wealth of experience and reaffirming that becoming Rotarians was one of the best decisions we have made.

✅ Membership Appreciation Message – The Immediate Past President encouraged members to continue strengthening and sustaining Rotary membership.

The evening was filled with fellowship, camaraderie, Rotary songs, learning, and inspiration.

The Rotary Club of Eziukwu Aba concluded the month of July with an exciting and memorable Birthday Fellowship in the 2026/2027 Rotary Year.

Led by President Rtn Uko Augustine Nwankwo, PHF, the fellowship was filled with engagement, learning, friendship, Rotary songs, and valuable updates on upcoming district events.

A great atmosphere of camaraderie, fun, and service above self. Together, we continue to Create Lasting Impact.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH FELLOWSHIP

Our Maternal and Child Health Fellowship was successfully held and ably led by our star President, Rtn Uko Augustine Nwankwo.

We were privileged to have Mrs. Nwankwo Victoria Kelechi as the guest speaker, who delivered an enlightening presentation on the topic: “Maternal and Child Health: A Rotary Perspective – Why It Matters to Rotarians, Fathers, and Society.”

The session was highly educational, informative, and engaging, emphasizing the collective responsibility of Rotarians, fathers, and society in ensuring the well-being of mothers and children.

The fellowship also featured a report on the recently concluded Joint Maternal and Child Health Project at Obete, updates on upcoming club projects, a financial report, Rotary songs, fellowship, camaraderie, and much more.

Together, we continue to make a difference through meaningful service and sustainable impact in our communities.
