TAKE-HOME POINTS
All Clubs in Aba are encouraged to actively participate in the forthcoming Polio Immunization Campaign on October 22, 2025, and the PolioPlus Walk on October 24, 2025.

Clubs should avoid becoming zero-giving clubs by contributing regularly to the Rotary Foundation.

Rotarians were reminded of the need to avoid and manage conflicts within clubs and to sustain peace through proactive engagement.

It was agreed that Rotary leadership in Aba should meet quarterly to strengthen collaboration and continuity.

The fellowship was indeed a moment of rejuvenation—rekindling the spirit of selfless service to humanity and reaffirming the commitment to grow Rotary in Aba.

The evening also featured Rotary songs, camaraderie, a health talk from VMAX Group, and an interactive session with American Option.

In closing, heartfelt appreciation was extended to the Assistant Governors, Rotary leaders, and all Rotarians and partners in service whose participation made the fellowship a success.

This gathering clearly reaffirmed our collective dedication to the ideals and purpose of Rotary International.

SERVICE TO HUMANITY — OUR CORE MISSION

It was indeed a fascinating evening at the club fellowship yesterday as the Club President, Rtn. Oluchi Patience Madukwe, set the tone for what turned out to be an inspiring and engaging time of learning, camaraderie, and fellowship.

The highlight of the evening was an insightful learning session anchored by the President-Elect, Rtn. Uko Augustine Nwankwo, on “The Rules of Financial Independence.” Members were deeply enriched by the discussion, which emphasized practical principles for financial discipline and sustainable living.

The fellowship also featured updates on ongoing club projects and upcoming activities, reaffirming our commitment to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self.

It was truly an evening that reflected the spirit of Rotary — service, friendship, and growth.

SPECIAL & COURTESY FELLOWSHIP VISIT

“Fellowship is the glue that holds our Rotary community together, fostering friendships and fueling our shared passion for service.”

Yesterday, the Rotary Club of Eziukwu Aba held a special and courtesy fellowship at the residence of one of our club’s Major Donors, His Excellency Rtn. (Dr.) Okezie Victor Ikpeazu-MD, the immediate past Governor of Abia State.

The President Rtn Oluchi Patience Madukwe-PHF set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing and engaging fellowship—marked by warmth, camaraderie, and insightful moments. A highlight of the evening was a thought-provoking lecture on the core values of Rotary International, which rekindled in us the true spirit of Rotary and our passion for service to humanity.

The MD’s inspiring address and his generous donation to the Rotary Foundation further reflected his enduring commitment to Rotary’s ideals and global impact.

Indeed, we remain steadfast in our shared values and objectives as a club, united by friendship and purpose.

“Service Above Self meets Fellowship Without Borders in the warmth of our Rotarian home.”

THE POWER, STRENGTH, AND AMAZING NATURE OF ROTARY SONGS IN FELLOWSHIPS

Rotary songs hold a unique place in our fellowships, carrying with them the power to inspire, the strength to unite, and the amazing ability to create an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. Beyond melodies and lyrics, these songs embody the values and spirit of Rotary, reminding us of our shared purpose of service above self.

Power: They uplift the soul, break barriers, and instantly energize the gathering. Even a tired mind finds renewed vigor when the familiar rhythm of a Rotary song begins.

Strength: In unity, voices blend as one, showing that together we can achieve more. The collective singing strengthens the bond of fellowship and reaffirms our commitment to Rotary ideals.

Amazing Nature: Rotary songs are not just sung; they are experienced. They bring laughter, smiles, nostalgia, and even solemn reflection when needed. Each song carries a heritage that connects us across cultures and generations.

In every fellowship, Rotary songs transform ordinary meetings into extraordinary experiences, turning moments into memories and Rotarians into one family bound by harmony and service.
