Keynote Presidential Welcome | NOGC 2026

H.E. Lucia Witbooi, Vice President of the Republic of Namibia, delivered the Keynote Presidential Welcome on behalf of H.E. Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia.

The address highlighted the need to translate Namibia’s petroleum resources into lasting national value, with a strong focus on local content, economic diversification, industrialisation, skills development and opportunities for Namibian businesses.

As Namibia moves towards development and production, the message was clear: discovery is not the destination — value creation is.
