Most feral cats are not “mean.”

They are scared.

They have learned that staying hidden is safer. That running away is smarter. That trusting too quickly can cost them food, safety, or even their life.

So when one eats from a bowl you leave out…

or sleeps near a shelter you placed quietly in a corner…

it may not look like a big moment to everyone else.

But to that cat, it can mean something important.

For one small part of the day, they did not have to search, fight, freeze, or wonder where help might come from.

Sometimes kindness is not dramatic.

Sometimes it is simply showing a frightened cat that the world still has one safe place left.

🆘💔 PLEASE HELP US BRING LUNA HOME 💔🆘 —- AREA KRUMHUK / OMEYA 🚗 B1 HIGHWAY 🚗

Luna went missing under truly heartbreaking circumstances.

Her owner was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on the road between Krumhuk and Omeya while on her way home after collecting Luna. She was hospitalized for two weeks, and during the chaos, Luna escaped from her carrier and disappeared into the surrounding area.

Luna’s family has been desperately searching for her ever since. She is likely frightened, confused, and hiding.

📍 Last seen: Near Farm Krumhuk / Valhala, on the road between Windhoek and Omeya.

🙏 If you live in or travel through the Krumhuk, Valhala, Omeya or surrounding B1 area, please keep an eye out. Check under bushes, around farm buildings, sheds, garages, culverts, and anywhere a scared cat may seek shelter.

🐾 Please do not chase her. If you spot Luna, try to keep her in sight if it is safe to do so, note the exact location, and contact one of the numbers on the poster immediately.

Even if you think you’ve seen her days ago, every sighting could help narrow down the search area.

Please help us find Floki! 🐾💔

Floki went missing on Saturday evening from Michaelis Street, Avis, Windhoek.

She is a beautiful black-and-white young female cat with very distinctive markings. Her family is desperately looking for her and would appreciate everyone in the Avis area and surroundings keeping an eye out.

🙏 Please check your garages, storerooms, sheds, gardens and under vehicles — she may be frightened and hiding nearby.

📍 Missing from: Michaelis Street, Avis, Windhoek

These cats depend on us every single day for food and care. But our funds are currently running dangerously low, while veterinary bills and feeding costs continue to rise.
