💛 Supporting Our Seniors, One Act of Kindness at a Time

Today, members of the Windhoek Lions Club were delighted to deliver a new refrigerator to Senior Park in Pionierspark.

This donation is a small but meaningful contribution to improving the daily lives of the residents, ensuring food and refreshments can be stored safely and comfortably.

We believe that caring for our senior citizens is an important part of building a compassionate community. Thank you to everyone who made this donation possible and continues to support our service projects.

🦁 Windhoek Lions Club – Service from the Heart📅

July 28 is World Hepatitis Day.

Did you know that hepatitis affects millions worldwide, yet many remain undiagnosed?

This year, the global theme is "It’s time for action." As Lions, our mission is to protect the health and well-being of our community right here in Windhoek.

Hepatitis causes liver inflammation and can lead to severe disease. The good news? It is preventable, treatable, and for Hepatitis C, curable.

What you can do today:
Get tested: Know your status early.
Get vaccinated: Protect yourself against Hepatitis B.
Spread the word: Share this post to educate others.

Let’s take action together to eliminate hepatitis in Namibia. Prevention starts with aw 🏥

🦁💛 Building a Better Future, One Brick at a Time!

Thanks to the generous donation of paving bricks and the incredible support of our community, the driveway at Butterfly Kindergarten has now been completed!

The dusty and uneven entrance is now a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming space for the children, teachers, and parents every day.

This project is another reminder that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. Together, we are helping to build brighter futures for the children of Namibia.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and made this possible. Your generosity is paving the way—literally and figuratively—for a better tomorrow.
