The final games of the weekend delivered exciting action as Afrocat NC secured a 55-36 victory over Namibian Navy NC, with Julia Valombola (GS) earning Player of the Match honours.
Meanwhile, Namibian Correctional Service NC continued their strong form with a commanding 64-34 win over Wanderers NC, and Sunshine Murangi (GK) was named Player of the Match. The MTC NNPL second leg continues to showcase the depth of talent across Namibia.

MTC NNPL 2026 | 2nd Leg Begins in the Capital!

The wait is over! The second leg of the MTC Namibian Netball Premier League gets underway this weekend at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in Windhoek.

The action kicks off with exciting South-Central derbies, as teams look to strengthen their positions on the log and build momentum for the remainder of the season.

Can the defending champions continue their dominance? Will the chasing pack close the gap? Every point counts as the race for the title intensifies.

From thrilling matchups to standout individual performances, Power Week proved that the future of our game is bright.

MTC NNPL 2026 | STANDINGS AFTER POWER WEEK

The first leg of the MTC NNPL has concluded in Swakopmund with Namibian Correctional Service (61 pts) leading the standings after an impressive unbeaten run of 11 wins from 11 matches.

NDF Mighty Gunners – 49 pts
Extreme Eagles – 41 pts
UNAM Ogongo – 39 pts
NAMPOL – 38 pts

Afrocat Lions finish the first leg in 7th position on 26 points, remaining well within reach of the teams above them.

A total of 66 matches were played during an exciting Power Week at the Dome, with teams now returning home to regroup before the next leg of the competition.
